We are now looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Delivery Team!

The Technical Business Analyst will interact and support the Senior Business Analyst. They will be accountable for breaking down the epic into features, interpreting high level requirements and breaking them down to user stories. They own the definition and implementation of a team’s backlog. This typically involve collaborating with the delivery squad to maximum value is delivered to customer/end user by prioritizing the most important items to start first.

As a Technical Business Analyst at BizCover, you will be reponsible for:

• Conducting the main Agile ceremonies in Team retro, Sprint review, planning & grooming
• Ensuring that user stories are ready to be estimated and worked on by the developers.
• Assisting the developers and the quality assurance team in delivering the agreed user stories (i.e. 3-way handshake) and verify that solutions will meet business requirements.
• Facilitating key meetings including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
• Production building /configuration
• Determining Technology Deliverables

Knowledge:

• Development  of story mapping diagrams
• Technical knowledge
• User Flows diagrams 
• Good understanding of the enterprise’s strategy
• Attended Agile training (and is certified)
• Good understanding of Design Thinking/Human Centered Design practices
• Basic working understanding of Jira/Confluence/Miro/Team Retro
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Project Controller to start immediately in our busy Townsville office on a fixed term contract of 12 months.

What will a day in this role look like:

• Working in teams to ensure proper controls on the projects and assisting Project Managers (PM’s) and operational leaders to deliver optimal profit and cash results for AECOM. 
• Drive the P&L and cash performance of AECOM by providing insight to PM’s and operational leaders on how project and business profitability and cash performance can be improved.
• Monitor and prepare financial information relating to the projects within their portfolio and ensuring that project risks and opportunities are identified early. 
• Be based in our busy Townsville office and work across multidisciplinary teams.

Combining execution and strategy, Our Strategy and Business Operations (BizOps) team work on high impact and high priority projects across Open. This requires an extremely high performing generalist capable of taking complex, multi-dimensional problems, coming up with solutions and executing them across the business.

About The Role
We created the BizOps team at Open to assist in defining and driving, operational and organisational improvements across Open. It operates like an internal consulting group that works on a range of critical projects and issues and sees them through to implementation.

What you'll be doing:

• Optimise and create bulletproof processes across all areas of Open
• Helping answer strategic questions such as our operating model, new products and markets
• Performing analysis on our operations, and driving insight to help us optimise various parts of our business
• Owning projects that will enable us to expand operationally into new international markets

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher
• Problem solving skills - you're able to see complex problems, break them down and solve them in a logical and analytical way
• Clear communication skills - you're able to clearly articulate your thoughts to stakeholders at all levels
• Transparent - you challenge respectfully, share insights freely and own your mistakes‍
• Passionate - you've got high energy to build a leading insurance company
• Resilient - you can stay collected and remain effective at all times
• Focused - you can keep your eyes on the prize, even when there are a million competing priorities

You'll have some (but not necessarily all) of the experiences described here:
You have ~1-2 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, engineering firm, law firm or investment bank with a proven bias to execution

~1-2 years of experience in a similar Business Operations role at a high growth startup
