The Account Management organisation is looking for a customer-facing leader to manage a team of Strategic Account Managers within the AU Account Management team. This manager will lead a team focused on the retention and growth of Square’s mid-market sellers, and will serve as a senior contact for the sellers managed within their team’s portfolio.  

You will support and continue to build a data-driven and motivated team whose efforts will continue Square's journey up-market across all verticals. You will directly manage a team of Strategic Account Managers while directing the overall revenue and logo retention of your team’s portfolio. You will provide 1:1 coaching and performance management for Square’s senior Account Managers. You will help develop processes and insights to grow the team today and influence program design for the future. You will identify and help build ongoing training programs, as well as influence the tooling Account Managers need for success. You will also manage impactful cross-functional projects for the greater company.

In addition to lengthy experience as a high-performing individual contributor solutioning within the mid-market or enterprise segment, you will have recent experience coaching and developing talent. You will also have experience leading projects, driving revenue growth, and advocating internally for customers. Stand-out candidates find their energy from coaching talent and generally feel comfortable operating in the unknown.

You Will:

• Lead a distributed team of up to 8 Account Managers

• Consistently achieve positive revenue outcomes while maintaining a high return on investment

• Provide 1:1 coaching and performance management to your team members

• Serve as an escalation point for customer challenges

• Engage with product teams to serve as the customer voice for upmarket sellers, with past success working with executive internal stakeholders 

• Create operational efficiencies through stream-lined repeatable processes

• Foster cross-functional collaboration through beta programs, co-marketing, product insights and more

Role Introduction...

As Senior Graphic Designer you'll work on every aspect of our creative outputs whilst helping mentor and coach the wider design team.

Some of the things you'll be working on...

- Digital content creation for web and social media: designing and managing assets for our website and social media channels including EDMs, social media content, web banners (static and animated) 

- Lead and mentor an established team of talented mid level designers

- Delivering high-quality design for print collateral and our tri-annual print publications: The Local Project, The Commercial Project, The Local Marketplace 

- Creating and managing documents and presentations for clients as well as internal use 

- Working collaboratively with the wider design team to deliver outputs on time and to brief 

Experience you'll need... 

- Proven experience as a Senior Designer, ideally with a minimum of 2+ years operating at a senior level

- A motivated leadership style with a can-do attitude.

- Advanced skills across the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator 

- Intermediate knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma and Woodwing

- A strong portfolio of work across web, print and social media channels

- Previous experience in print publications highly regarded, as is knowledge or interest in architecture

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget, and is looking to make their next career move into a more senior management role.

• Ensure that projects meet all quality standards
• Provide expertise and guidance to project team members
• Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in project management
• Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple IT projects
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
