About the Role Â
We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is a proactive, target-driven individual with a passion for fostering client relationships, driving business growth, and exceeding goals. This role will identify, qualify, and close new business that results in substantial incremental revenue and margins. As a primary business lead, you will be responsible for cultivating new relationships and maintaining existing ones for allocated accounts, driving customer retention, and actively generating leads across Australia. Â

You’ve the ability to effectively communicate ideas and strategies, coupled with compelling presentation skills. You’ve proven capability in establishing and nurturing relationships across all organizational levels. You’re target-oriented with a demonstrated track record of meeting and surpassing targets and KPIs, including pipeline metrics and opportunity coverage.
You’ve proven experience in bid preparation and are proficiency in bid preparation, support, and submission processes. You’ve the ability to adeptly manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and opportunities within CRM systems. You’re an expert in crafting business development plans that yield effective results.Â
Experience in business development for the software industry is required. Exposure to the libraries domain and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels are highly desirable.

The role involves identifying and qualifying customer opportunities, building strong professional relationships, and leveraging internal resources to strengthen Civica's credibility with customers. It involves researching industry strategies, acting as a trusted advisor, shaping deals early in the sales cycle, and advancing profitable revenue growth.
