About the Accounts Officer Role:

As the Aviation Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for capturing, preparing and reconciling flight information for the purpose of financial accruals and reporting. The role also incorporates the processing of invoices and credit claims for both internal and external suppliers and customers. Other responsibilities include the maintenance of charter flight costings and working with other departments to minimise revenue leakage and to maximise profitability for the business.

What you’ll do (duties/responsibilities including/not limited to):

• Accounts Payable duties will make up about two thirds of your duties (circa 150 invoices a month)
• Preparing reports on flight data, debtors balances, fuel pricing, fuel surcharges, aircraft capacity utilization, and freight volumes etc.

• Assis the Commercial Manager to achieve accurate and timely completion of month end financial results

What you’ll bring to the role:

• At least 1+ years experience working in a similar role (AP, AR, Invoicing etc.)

• Intermediate Excel skills
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Oracle EBS software experience (desirable/not essential)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The AP Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices including reconciliation back to purchase orders, and maintaining a strong internal and external supplier relationships. Elements of Byron is an award-winning Beach front resort, nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise in Byron Bay. The role of Recruitment Admin Resourcer will support our Talent and Culture Manager who is responsible for Recruitment, Culture and Training at the resort.

This is a full time position working 5 days Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 4.30pm.

You will be responsible for providing admin and some recruitment support to ensure that effective candidate management and communication is maintained with all applicants who are applying for roles at the resort. • A competitive salary, between $70,000 - $85,000 p.a. (plus superannuation), dependent on your previous experience, skills, and qualifications

We Are Social is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part within the agency, closely collaborating across all departments.

Please note that this is a maternity leave cover position for 12 months starting around March 25, and the role is part-time (3 or 4 days a week).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is designed for someone who is a self-directed learner and is comfortable working on the following deliverables:

Accounts Payable:

• Manage and process supplier invoices, staff expenses, corporate credit cards, Weel account (virtual credit card), and Uber account transactions (around 100 transactions per week).
• Prepare and review WorkBook weekly payment proposals for approval by the Finance Director
• Weekly payment run for international and local suppliers
• Promote We Are Social finance processes, share your knowledge with those around you, and use the expertise available to broaden your own development.

Relationship Management:

• Develop strong relationships across the business
• Contribute to a thriving agency culture

While the specific content of your role is clearly defined, the nature of the demands placed on us by our clients means that this role will evolve over time and needs a ‘can do’ approach.

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

For this role, we are looking for someone with:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in the finance department.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Naturally process-driven but can also think outside of the box
• Collaborator and good communicator (written and verbal).
• Confidence with IT (especially Excel and any financial software packages).
• Discreet and trustworthy.
• Australian working rights.
