Key responsibilities

- Management of key operating expenses for the Australian business, ensuring accuracy

and timely payment of invoices.

- Collaborate with division leads for comprehensive project estimates to ensure monthly

targets are met.

- Maintain cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for the Australian business, highlighting

potential risks.

- Implement standard cost control procedures and provide consolidated reports to

management team

- Forecast monthly operating expenditure utilisting Netsuite software and actual invoices

incurred.

- Provide assistance with cost analysis for yearly budgeting purposes.

- Provide support to team members in preparation of financial statements at half year and

year end.

- Liasing with customers and external vendors to ensure invoicing and payments are

adhered to within timely manner

- Weekly and monthly maintenance of reconciliation process of vendor payments and

billings

- Maintain and continual automation of Netsuite OpEx module

- Support Project Managers with various financial aspects, ensuring accuracy and

compliance.

- Manage timely invoicing and interface data with accruals

- Assist provision of adequate information flow and consolidated reports to Senior

Leadership around budgets, expenditure, forecasts and progress to accommodate

decision making.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (AP)
• Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time
• Perform month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Support annual audit, company tax return and FBT processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems
• Other Ad Hoc Duties as and when required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Oracle)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

We are seeking an Accountant to join the Escrow.com division and be an integral part of our Group Finance team. As a regulated business, Escrow.com has ongoing reporting obligations to numerous regulators, and this key role will ensure all reporting is accurate and timely. This position focuses on reconciliations and analysis within a trust accounting environment, and you will also assist with month-end close, bank reconciliations, and more.

You will be highly organised, extremely detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, trustworthy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interact with many stakeholders across the business.

This is an exciting full time opportunity within our Sydney Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations
• Conduct ongoing reconciliation tasks relating to trust accounting
• Ongoing regulatory reporting to numerous regulators in the US
• Providing support and backup to Escrow payment agents, who perform trust Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Prepare of affiliate commissions
• Preparation of schedules for statutory and regulatory audits
• Processing of month end tasks including revenue journals, fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, and consolidation of the Escrow division
• Provide support and backup to other finance functions as needed

Requirements:

• Appropriate accounting qualifications (CA or CPA, or currently studying towards these qualifications).
• Highly proficient in Excel, with the ability to work with filters and pivot tables to manage large volumes of data.
• Experience with Netsuite is an advantage
• Proven reconciliation experience, particularly bank reconciliations within a high volume environment
• Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and committed to improving internal processes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, particularly during month-end
• Ability to work autonomously
• Capable of meeting time and pressure deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and numerical skills
• Knowledge in SQL would be beneficial but not essential
