After a highly successful Paris Olympics in 2024, the newly created Lead Product Manager role joins the Streaming team at an exciting time to help define and deliver the roadmap that will take our experience forward, as we look to Los Angeles in 2028 and beyond.

The Streaming Services team works on the core API’s that power the user experience on 9Now and 9Radio. As the Lead Product Manager for this team, your role is to take a Product view of the API’s and anticipate, plan, and prioritise services that client applications will require to deliver customer facing features. You will work closely with the other Platform Product Managers and teams responsible for backend services such as Video, Content Management and Identity, often taking the lead to deliver innovative personalised services for our users.  You will also collaborate with your Product Manager peers responsible for Web, Mobile Apps, Connected TV and Radio apps.

About the Role

As the Lead Product Manager for Streaming Services you will

• Drive the product vision and strategy for 9Now’s API Services.
• Lead cross-platform product initiatives that span multiple teams.
• Mentor and coach Product Managers and Associate Product Managers in the Platform Product team.
• Look for opportunities to build Product competency and culture across both the Streaming team as well as the wider Nine Product team.
• Collaborate with your Product Management peers to ensure their requirements are understood, and the appropriate changes are delivered for them to enhance their Products.
• Functionally lead a squad of Software Engineers through the definition and development of new Product initiatives in the Services backlog.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and Lead Product Manager peers to ensure the solutions we deliver match Product objectives.
• Support the “Head of Platform Products, Streaming” in driving the Streaming Platform Products vision and strategy.

The engineer is expected to diligently manage and resolve challenging issues assigned to them but may need to coordinate assistance from additional teams for more complex cases. As such, creative problem solving, a collaborative nature and flexibility will be key to your success.

Lastly, support engineers also play a key role in providing input across business units regarding process and product improvements due to their unique perspective when working on technical issues for customers.

This support engineer's SME team is the User Experience Team.

The Project Management team is part of Powered Studios, that sits within Powered. Powered is Nine’s Creative Solutions team, helping clients to realise big ideas in advertising across all of Nine’s ecosystem by experiencing the power of Collaboration, Creativity and Confidence. We have experts in content, client experience, strategy, creative, media production and marketing.

Day to day, we support the broadcast, digital, print and audio national agency and direct sales teams in responding to pitch work, responses and then fulfilling deliverables on Sold jobs.
The role is responsible for being the direct contact between sales and the Studios team. Working with varying stakeholders, no one day will be the same. From briefing in designers, booking in resource or working on timelines for articles. You are also responsible for quoting in the pitch stage, then managing budgets on sold work.

Work you’ll contribute to ranges from digital articles, long form, high impact print to cooking videos or social edits. Clients can be from Finance, Tech, Luxury, FMCG - the list goes on.
You take complete ownership over your campaigns, with support from the Head of Project Management.

In this 12 month fixed-term (Parental Leave cover), full-time role, based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing early and late phase industry sponsored clinical trials. You will be part of the Epworth’s Haematology Clinical Trails Unit and report to the Haematology Clinical Trials Manager.

You will make an impact by:

• Coordinating a wide range of blood cancer clinical studies from commencement to close out, in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and other relevant guidelines.
• Recruiting and evaluating the suitability of participants for enrolment in trials and managing their participation, treatment, education and care throughout the study. 
• Managing the research study files, documentation, reports and lab work for each trial.
• Working closely and liaising with sponsors, investigators, nurses and other professionals both within the clinical trials team and externally
