About the role

• Team Global Express is seeking an MC Driver to commence immediately in Karawatha on Brisbane’s South Side

• This is a Full Time Permanent role, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week

• The successful candidate will be rostered on our PM Shift (9.30pm Starts) and will be eligible for a Shift Allowance

• Overtime is available and will be offered on a need by need basis

• This role will be primarily site based, to assist our Operations Teams with the Organisation of our Vehicles for Loading & Unloading Duties

• You will primarily be tasked with moving trucks around the depot in order to prepare them for Loading

• You will primarily be operating a Body Truck, however you will also be required to operate Heavy Rigid Trucks, B Doubles and Prime Movers

• You must hold a current MC license. You must also be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Heavy Vehicles

• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently

• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes

About the role

• This opening is for a Freight Admin Clerk to join our Team at Karawatha immediately

• This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role

About the Role

Team Global Express is currently seeking qualified HR and MC drivers to commence immediately at our Karawatha Depot on Brisbane’s South Side (Nearby suburbs to our Depot include Calamvale and Browns Plains).  These are Full Time Permanent Positions that provide that you an opportunity to join our Pick Up and Delivery Team servicing our major clients and customers throughout Brisbane and Surrounding Regions.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• These are full time Permanent Full Time positions, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week (6am Starts)

• Must be Flexible to accommodate a Rotating Roster

• Overtime is Available for this role – Work up to 12 hours per day depending on Business Requirements

• Weekend work will also be offered on a need by need basis

• You must hold an Unconditional HR or MC Licence. You must be able to drive a combination of Automatic and Manual Heavy Vehicles

• Must have previous experience in a similar role

• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently

• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes

• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames

• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required

• Complete own vehicle pre-start checks

• Please Note: There is no set allocation of trucks in this position

• Remuneration: $30.51 Per Hour (HR) / $33.70 Per Hour (MC)
