The primary responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator are to coordinate, plan and manage the transport logistics to ensure that Louis Dreyfus Company meets its contractual obligations and legislative requirements in the execution of all physical contracts (both purchase and sale).

• The role includes following through all logistics tasks including and not limited to managing orders, accumulations, contracts, carriers, site planning and collection of delivery reports and tickets.
• Working closely with the LDC Trading & Commercial teams and other key service providers, the successful candidate will be proactive in identifying and securing the best commercial and services solution available to LDC and its customers.
• Plan and execute logistics at LDC to ensure contractual obligations in the execution of all physical contracts both purchase and sales are met.
• Reporting, analysis and monitoring to ensure achievement of team objectives.

Daily activities include but are not limited to:

• Uphold a responsible pricing and execution role within the LDC trading team with a particular focus on domestic delivered markets across all approved commodities and trading regions.
• In conjunction with the trading manager and other commodity traders ensure that overall commodity strategies are priced and executed efficiently.
• Ensure execution and pricing of commodity strategies based on 'best value execution' methodology under defined contract terms and conditions.

• Support LDC regional teams to deliver added value to LDC and its customers through the provision of innovative and flexible grain marketing solutions.
• Assist with daily pricing and marketing material provided to grower and end-user customers.
• Work closely with logistics and SCO teams to identify and maximise quality and freight arbitrage opportunities to achieve synergy targets set for the integrated LDC business.
• Uphold a leadership role in maintaining clear communication between trading, marketing, logistics and SCO teams to clearly prioritise LDC pipeline methodology.

Daily activities include but are not limited to:

• Building relationships with grower customers, brokers, agents, and consultants.
• Ensure timely and accurate publication of grower pricing.
• Record and maintain grower purchase contracts and amendments in LDC systems within specified timeframes.
• Provide administrative support and documentation for grower clients and their agents (e.g., contract confirmations, RCTIs).
• Develop and implement site-specific strategies to meet purchasing targets for operational and trading teams.
• Collect and analyze information collected from grower clients to develop and share a view on what is driving their marketing decisions.
• Collaborate with LDC Operations and Logistics teams to identify opportunities and risks related to grower decision making and contracts.
• Attend internal and external events such as crop tours, field days, and industry meetings.
• Promote and encourage the use of LDC’s digital tools among growers and customers.
• Seek opportunities for data integration across application systems.
• Participate in new system projects.

This position is responsible for handling the IT operations support services, both service desk and infrastructure scope within the LDC network infrastructure domain, daily activities include but are not limited to:

• Manage and administer the IT services and operation in main offices, remote sites and warehouses across Australia.
• Frequent travelling will be required to be onsite at remote locations during peak seasons.
• Use of ServiceNow tool to manage and handle all IT issues and requests from users as well as change and problem management.
• Maintain excellent customer interactions and working closely with management colleagues.
• Collaborate with 3rd party service providers to guarantee operations service quality.
• Continuous improvements on the IT operation.
• Ensure the incident, change management and problem management are correctly applied, activate third parties when needed.
• A key player in the relationship between Infrastructure and Applications teams and usually are part of a regional Service Delivery team.

• Configuration of servers, networks, installing operating systems, software and hardware in accordance with IT standards, policies and procedures
• Support local IT projects (hardware or software replacement, new infrastructure, etc.) and liaise with vendor as and when necessary.
• Organise end-user education on any new technology and training on new tools to leverage powerful solutions to their maximum.
• Preventive Maintenance – Plan and schedule periodic monitoring and review of IT infrastructure assets to ensure system availability and resiliency are not compromised and minimise service disruptions.
• Maintain up to date of all the IT asset inventory through GLPI tool.
• Conduct regular reviews with your vendors on the performance and SLA and take corrective actions on the continuous improvements on the services delivered by partner.
• Build and maintain good set of technical documentations to support the operation and IT services.
• Procurement and Invoice management – ensure good governance are adopted during procurement process and prior approvals are taken before initiating any procurements. Ensure invoices are processed for payments on time and all IT expenses are approved in accordance with the approved budget limit.
• Out-of-office hours on call presence and cover for other sites on an ad-hoc basis either onsite or remotely.
• Responsible in providing regular management reports on the information and performance related to infrastructure operations, Incident statistics, problems encountered, open tickets and backlogs and performance etc.
• Actively participate and contribute in Regional/Global forums, as required – need to be a voice for Australia operations concerns and challenges. Likewise, through these forums, resource needs to be aligned in terms of policies, standards and directions.

In this role, you will have to work with the Regional IT Office to design and develop new solutions, enhancements and optimization initiatives and provide Level 2/3 troubleshooting and support for high priority and escalated incidents.
