Our team is looking for a project manager to deliver a mix of Commercial/Retail Developer projects and also Industrial/Logistics projects.

• To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects.
• To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
• Manage all aspects of the project and both the internal team and consultant team to deliver quality outputs on time.
• Manage commissions, cashflows, budgets plus assist with resourcing and superintendent recommendations.
• Training and development of junior staff (transfer of skills to graduates and assistant PMs).

You will assist with development of budgets, will manage complex stakeholder arrangements, manage and assess tenders, co-ordinate contractors and consultants and will get to take ownership of the projects you deliver. You will also have the opportunity to assist with client relationship management and business generation as part of the wider team.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a team of service delivery management professionals. In this role you will be focused on developing and implementing strategy and business plans across your team and with the broader Datacom direction. As our General Manager – Service Delivery Management, you will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver service excellence to our customers in commercially compliant and financially sustainable way. Using your strong influencing skills, you will support your team in driving continual service improvement for our customers across our matrix organisation, championing a security first approach in everything we do. With your in-depth experience of technology services outsourcing, you will be able to represent and advocate for our solutions and offerings in support of in account and new customer growth. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be able to support our people in all situations and help them in their career development journeys.

What you’ll bring  

• A bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant field or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of senior commercial or sales experience within a complex and multifaceted manage services environment
• Demonstrated experience managing service delivery teams within an outsourcing arrangement
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
• Strong influencing and persuasive ability
• Ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends

Team Summary

This role based in Melbourne reports to the Senior Director, Client Marketing and is a key member of the Visa marketing team - a high-performing team responsible for our brand health and delivering best in class consumer, B2B, client and merchant marketing to drive business growth across Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AuNZSP).

The Senior Manager role is responsible for managing the planning and delivery of marketing activities for a number of our key clients in Australia. Responsibilities include planning, design, implementation and optimisation of acquisition, usage and engagement programs for our client’s Retail and Business bank customer’s Everyday Banking Accounts, transaction accounts and credit card portfolios. For merchant partners, the role is responsible for planning and execution of partnership activations and campaigns. The remit includes full funnel marketing campaign execution from product awareness, consideration, new-to-bank (NTB) acquisition through to onboarding, retention, portfolio and engagement initiatives.

What a Senior Manager, Client Marketing does at Visa:

• Contributes to the planning of an annual marketing calendar for each of our clients and merchants
• Develops communications strategies and integrated marketing campaign plans for our client marketing projects
• Develops marketing services and campaign proposals and the presentation of these to clients
• Project management of marketing programs to ensure we exceed client expectations with our execution and delivery
• Manages the creative and content development of campaigns. Works with agency partners to develop and execute high quality campaigns that are on time and on budget
