The role of Senior Manager - Finance Strategy and Operations, serves as a key support to the Head of Finance across a broad range of financial activities and projects. The Senior Manager will play a versatile role, managing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day financial operations as needed.

This generalist position will focus on ensuring smooth execution of financial processes, financial reporting, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and policy updates while supporting the Head of Finance in driving the finance function’s overall performance.

SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Fleet Optimisation Manager to join our team on a permanent full time basis.

The role offers the flexibility to work from home and across our Sydney CBD and/or Olympic Park offices as agreed and required for the role. This role can also be based remotely at any of our offices.

The Fleet Optimisation Manager is responsible for the management of the SIXT Australia fleet to deliver and exceed set business targets. This role contributes to the optimum utilisation of the fleet and assists key stakeholders in identifying opportunities to vary fleet mix and numbers to meet business requirements. The Fleet Optimisation Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the fleet’s operational readiness, cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Making fleet recommendations to stakeholders based on apparent trends with regard to utilisation and pricing  
• Monitoring and controlling floating fleet issues; repatriation of fleet back to site locations where necessary to maximise utilisation  
• Assisting with the acquisition of fleet and disposal of fleet in line with the national fleet plan  
• Driving rental days and utilization of vehicles through forward planning & repair monitoring  
• Identifying and implementing growth strategies to drive business performance
• Conducting analysis and reports to ensure business targets are being met and outlined

Your Career

The Senior Program Manager is a senior level role that will support large and complex consulting engagements and security transformation programs across JAPAC. The individual will report directly to the VP for Unit 42 in JAPAC and partner with Unit 42 leadership and Security Consulting PMO to lead GCO programs and projects, as well as support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) and Proactive Services engagements across the region.

Your Impact:

• Has considerable cybersecurity and security transformation experience across diverse sectors, industries and markets (in  JAPAC)

• Has  experience operating at technical, CxO and board levels

• Has appropriate consulting, program, change management and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management experience, to gain credibility and trust with complex stakeholders

• Can effectively articulate themes that organisations are challenged by with regards to what's driving transformation, including new digital environments,  the legal, compliance and regulatory landscape, stakeholder expectations, budgetary concerns and factors including Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Security Investments, 3rd party/supply chain risk and exposure and the evolving threat landscape

• Has experience working with partners

• Understands threat-led, data driven consulting and has sufficient technology and cybersecurity experience to be able to learn our products and services

• Can rally the team to quick and effective outcomes, has operated / led war-rooms

• Has the ability to lead, influence and drive outcomes

• Be an expert in program and project management methodology and processes

• Be able to build successful relationships with cross-organizational leaders to achieve mutually successful results

As a Department Manager you are responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals by setting a plan for your department to deliver a Great Customer Experience in line with your store. You ensure you have a Great Team and support their development, working with succession planning, talent development and structured performance management for your team based on results, values, and leadership.   

Key responsibilities: 

• Regularly analyse and follow up Sales & Profit KPIs for your department and together with the Visual  

• Merchandisers you take action to maximise sales. 

• Drive Hello Member program in line with country goals 

• Ensure your department continuously meets H&M standards and follow this up using the Customer Experience Tool.  

• Together with your Visual Team, you ensure the implementation of the Commercial Handbook. 

• Evaluate and manage the performance of your team; give regular feedback, execute performance development reviews, development plans, follow-up and take any appropriate action to improve performance and develop your team. 

• Actively work with a talent pipeline in your department to support the business and store needs.

• Assist in leading, mentoring and training the Food & Beverage Operations team.
• Supervise and delegate duties, ensure brand standards are maintained.
• Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal.

This is a Full-Time role - 38 hours per week.
