Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer success or professional, client-focused account servicing role, preferably within a SaaS business.
• Skills:
• Outstanding execution and product demonstration abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience providing Zoom training sessions to customers with a broad range of technical aptitudes.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

• This position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining an effective business partnering capability that will provide Business Units with timely and appropriate support, financial information and analytical tools to manage performance of the Business Units. This position is the key contact for Business Units, especially for Sales and Marketing teams, and has the ability to influence decision making and assist with driving Business Units' performance. Your key responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

• Finance business partner to Corporate Accounts Manager responsible for and Tenders. This will include preparing and participating in business reviews and planning cycles (LBE) reviews.

• Working closely with Commercial business to evaluate margin impact related to investment decisions, pricing and promotions, and business development opportunities to support the making of decisions.

• Ensuring pricing proposals are compliant with corporate pricing policy across the CRM & EPHF business and authorisation is properly documented.

• Update and monitor market status of products within the customer groups.  Understand the impact of market dynamics, share, and innovation on the forecast assumptions.

• Act as the single provider of relevant business unit data to the Finance Controllers for consolidation into FP&A reporting including Plan, LBE, and long-term innovation forecasts. 

• Prepare Corporate Account reports, ad hoc reporting and/or analysis as required by Corporate Accounts Manager.

• Manage and develop one direct report. 

• Oversee the rebate and Sales incentive process performed by direct report including:

• timely & accurate calculation and accrual of monthly rebates and payments are executed in accordance with approved Rebate agreements and properly authorized in accordance with corporate policy.

• Timely & accurate calculation of sales incentive and relevant accruals for the CRM/EPHF divisions in accordance with annual sales incentive plans.

• Sales territory alignment within SAP for Abbott Medical divisions.

• Defining and implementing best practice planning and control techniques in line with business needs.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Histology Manager. In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the Histology laboratory including but not limited to operational management, quality assurance, staffing, workflows, time management, technician training, equipment maintenance, vendor agreements and more.  You will be a LEAN advocate and ensure the laboratory follows all LEAN principles.

• Participate in the safety training program of the company and makes certain that staff are properly trained. 
• Expand the laboratory portfolio by helping to develop new research projects and proposals.

Requirements

• Tertiary Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Histology laboratory.
• Minimum 3 years of Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workflow to meet the company’s and client requirements.
• Experience with purchasing and consumable levels within agreed budgets
• Ability to consistently maintain compliance with Histopath’s standard operating procedures at all times.

• Ensure QC and operational compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Lead for key QC systems such as testing, release of raw materials and finished products, etc.

• Support QA & RA activities.

• Lead in developing and implementing quality strategies and key reporting metrics.

• Evaluates production capabilities and recommend improvements.

• Provide technical assessment and serve as subject matter subject.

• Deviation and compliant management, Products and Materials Release, Validation and Change Control Support, New product introduction and Documentation Control to ensure an efficient operational QC system that assures full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirement and cGMP

• Responsible for ensuring that product to be released meets specification and regulatory requirements

• Responsible for providing quality control oversight for Operations activities

• Raise OOS and lead the investigations.

• Ensure the effectiveness of investigations and to make decisions on the adequacy of investigations, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions

• Ensure inspection readiness of the area with respect to all internal and external audits. When required provide responses and timely follow up on relevant corrective actions and commitments made as a result of the inspections, communicating with TGA and other regulatory agencies as necessary.

• Establishing appropriate controls for the QC Laboratory.

• Provide support/guidance for the implementation and maintenance of corporate and cGMP standards.

• Perform all duties necessary to confirm compliance with local regulatory and company requirements.

This inbound team receive calls from prospective customers and families approaching aged care for the first time and need guidance by a solution focussed and quality customer service approach. In this busy role you will lead, coach, educate & develop the team to deliver excellent customer, business and quality service outcomes whilst building on the team’s capabilities. You will establish protocols around best practice process and procedure, effective metrics and measures of success.  

The ideal applicant will have exceptional organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to have high level financial conversations with prospective clients and a commercial/operational mindset. Additionally, you will have;

• Recent demonstrated experience in a similar contact centre Team Leader position
• Experience in a position where complex levels of advice have been offered
• Demonstrated skills in coaching & leading a phone based team to meet KPIs & service levels
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent time management, prioritisation and administration including computer skills
• An understanding of residential aged care and retirement living fee arrangements and LLLB related legislation would be highly regarded. However, if you are confident in your ability to learn quickly and become the “go to” person we are happy to provide training
• Ability to touch type verbatim notes whilst talking on the phone
• Able to provide evidence of Covid Immunisations
