This year Catholic Healthcare celebrates 30 years in care, we now have over 5000 employees and a new opportunity for experienced Development Manager with commercial acumen to join our internal Property Team, supporting the business growth strategy and strategic projects.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Property Development, you will be supported by an Assistant Development Manager and will be responsible for development from concept to completion, including acquisition and due diligence, feasibility preparation, approvals, design, project and budget management.
Your down to earth approach together with your professional communication skills and ability to effectively engage with, and influence multiple stakeholders, will support your success.
Your primary responsibilities will include;
- Providing successful outcomes in all areas of development, compliance, refurbishment, and redevelopment of all our building related assets.
- Working collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders across multifunctional business units to ensure the effective delivery and services to the business.
- Managing safety and compliance closely following all policies and procedures.
- Providing accurate financial management expenditure forecasts related to development projects.
- Managing expenditure in line with approved Senior Executive Committee and Board proposals / Business Cases
The ideal applicant will be driven with a passion for success and have 5+ years’ post graduate experience in large scale property development management in addition to;
- Tertiary qualifications in a property related discipline - Architecture, Engineering, Property Economics or Construction
- Master of Property Investment and Development – Desirable
- Demonstrated experience - project management, project feasibility study development, project planning & documentation and understanding of property development & building industry
- Highly developed analytical skills, commercial acumen, financial analysis (IRR)
- Detailed understanding and experience with planning application and approval processes
- Detailed working knowledge of relevant building codes and standards as applied to development projects.
- Ability to provide proof of Covid19 Immunisations – Essential
