Are you ready to make a profound impact in the lives of young people? Join us at headspace Port Macquarie as our new Clinical Lead and be at the forefront of providing exceptional mental health care for youth aged 12-25.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Provide expert leadership, support, and clinical supervision to our dynamic clinical team
  • Drive the development, design, and evaluation of clinical services to ensure high-quality care and seamless client pathways
  • Oversee clinical governance, manage caseloads, and ensure the effective delivery of our services while maintaining compliance with headspace standards

You’ll work closely with the headspace Services Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation and strategic direction of our services. Your leadership will help foster a supportive environment for young people and their families, ensuring they receive the best care possible.

About you
You are an experienced mental health professional with a passion for youth-focused care. Your skills and background include:

  • Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant health field and AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the association in your field
  • At least 5 years of senior clinical experience, with advanced skills in mental health screening and risk assessment
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and the ability to develop and implement effective clinical processes
  • Experience working with diverse young populations, including CALD, Indigenous, and LGBTIQA communities

Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, families, and other service providers, ensuring the delivery of integrated and high-quality care.
