The ROLE:

• Help build a culture that is centred around people development and create excitement about inventory control and stock movement
• Create team succession plans and deliver regular training to store team to inspire them to continuously improve
• Elevate your team through regular coaching and mentoring and empower them to be self sufficient and achieve accuracy across store inventory levels
• Collaborate with store leaders to understand customer needs for key store events and peak trade periods to achieve maximum revenue growth

As the Brand Manager you'll drive the strategic development and execution of Marley Spoon's brands, ensuring consistent messaging and creative representation. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing and works is based at our head office in Sydney (Alexandria, NSW 2015).

Your role:

• Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies, translating insights into actionable plans that align with Marley Spoon’s business goals and target audience needs.
• Oversee brand management, including maintaining brand positioning, managing design and packaging, and ensuring all touchpoints reflect the brand’s identity.
• Create and execute quarterly brand campaigns, developing toolkits for consistent messaging across channels and monitoring campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Culinary and Content, to align brand initiatives and manage marketing budgets for maximum ROI.
• Plan and coordinate marketing activities to meet business objectives, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitor strategies, identifying opportunities for growth.
• Manage the customer experience across every touchpoint, championing the customers voice and advocating for their interest to build strong brand loyalty.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in brand management within retail, grocery, consumer goods, or e-commerce industries, ideally in direct-to-consumer businesses.
• Proven ability to analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to drive strategic and tactical marketing decisions.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work across time zones and participate in weekly evening or morning calls.
• Experience with culinary or food-related brands preferred.

As the Content & Social Media Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our social media presence, driving exciting and strategic content creation, managing our social channels, and ensuring our brands shine online. In close collaboration with the Marketing team, you will be leading strategic content creation and continuous improvement initiatives from our head office based in Alexandria, NSW 2015.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract maternity leave cover until the end of July 2025.

Your role:

• Strategic Content Creation: Produce and publish static and video content for social media and digital channels. Brief internal/external creatives for multi-channel content creation.
• Social Media Management: Own the organic social media strategy for Marley Spoon and our brands. Manage the social media calendar, content planning, and production processes across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Content Performance Analysis: Analyse social media content performance, generate regular reports, and provide actionable insights to optimise strategies.
• Customer & Brand Communications: Collaborate with the Customer Care team to distribute brand-aligned communications and manage brand reputation across social media and review websites.
• Photo/Video Shoots: Manage or assist on photo/video shoots, including filming smartphone videography for social media assets.
• Process Improvement: Standardise and improve processes for content production and asset management, leveraging AI-powered tools for efficiency.

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
• 3+ years in social media management and content creation within a Marketing team or agency. Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media strategies including shooting content using smartphones, with a creative/campaign portfolio of social media work to match
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Later) and managing brand reputation via social media channels and review sites 
• Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
• Copywriting skills with the ability to apply varied brand tones of voice.
