The successful applicant will lead procurement activities under established category strategies in partnership with University stakeholders and deliver value for money outcomes that support the University’s Strategy.

What you’ll bring to this role

• Proven experience in strategic procurement and category management, preferably in a complex organisational setting
• A customer-centric mindset characterised by proactivity, responsiveness to internal stakeholder needs and the ability to cultivate positive relationships
• Demonstrated experience achieving value for money outcomes by leading all aspects of high-value, high-risk procurement processes
• High level written skills with the ability to prepare complex procurement and technical documents, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• High level analytical, conceptual and strategic problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and experience in contract management and negotiations with the ability to interpret and understand contractual terms specific to the procurement of goods, services and works
• High level proficiency in document control and management
