Some Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert-level support for our primary ERP, PRONTO, and its integrations across Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Maintenance Management modules.
• Assist in system improvements, including enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
• Produce functional and technical specification documentation and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Follow our Change Management processes, maintain a 3-Tier environment, and utilize ServiceNow effectively.
• Collaborate with IT teams, including Applications, Engineering, and Help Desk.
• Build strong relationships with key business users to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance ERP usage for specific business processes.
• Educate and support key users through training and comprehensive documentation.
• Assist with IT audit processes and lead audit remediation activities.
• Create PRONTO knowledge base materials to expand our resources.
• Provide support for existing solutions, such as REDMAP AP Automation and COGNOS BI Reporting.
• Offer Level 2 support as needed and conduct PRONTO training sessions.
• Manage external vendors for existing solutions.

Play a key role in enhancing organisational efficiency with the PRONTO ERP system. You'll develop high-quality training materials, including documentation and multimedia resources, to help users effectively navigate the system. Your work will include creating tailored induction programs, ongoing training resources, and providing Business-As-Usual (BAU) support to address user inquiries and improve system adoption.

Some key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Conduct training sessions on the basics of PRONTO ERP for diverse user groups.
• Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and training materials for ERP modules.
• Create engaging onboarding materials to help new employees get acquainted with PRONTO.

About the role:

We are looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer to provide thought leadership, planning, management, and technical design development for our customer’s and support their migration to/growth within CDC’s Data Centre Facilities. The incumbent will be a Data Centre Engineering SME and will be deployed across the business in technical discovery, customer response preparation and major change consultation.

Key responsibilities include:

•      Work with internal teams to respond to requests from customers and to respond in bid scenarios.

•      Liaise directly with customer technical teams in support of the Head of Engineering Innovation.

•      Assist with hyperscale pre-sales opportunities as required.

•      Provide advice and support to stakeholders and cross functional teams throughout the sales lifecycle.

•      Prepare data centre engineering briefing infromation to ensure alignment between key customer and or CDC Business requirements and project deliverables.

•      Collaborate with the CDC Engineering Delivery Design team to customise and configure design to meet customer specific needs.

•      Participate in the data centre engineering Concept Design phase to ensure alignment between key customer requirements and project deliverables.

•      Manage the development of key customer sales collateral.

•      Gather and relay customer feedback to appropriate parities.

•      Articulate, capture and escalate risk to the Head of Engineering Innovation. 

•      Contribute to CDC Engineering strategy regarding innovation and Data Centre Engineering best practice.

•      Strong experience in designing and implementing hyperscale data centre engineering developments and customer deployment solutions. 

•      Experience in optimizing and evaluating data centre engineering design for time and cost efficiency.

•      Strong understanding of Data Centre Engineering principles and industry standard design architectures.  

•      Demonstrable track record in pre-sales or post sales.
