The Role
We have multiple Occupational Therapist roles Australia wide who have supportive administrative teams, passionate clinicians, regular social events, a flexible diary, all combining for a team focused culture.
This occupational therapy position has the flexibility of full time with a 9-day fortnight or the choice of part-time roles all operating out of our Rockhampton Clinic. All applications are welcome, from new graduates to experienced clinicians. We offer above award salary and accommodating conditions, including a generous professional development allowance. Weekly or fortnightly supervision are available
What the role involves:
Building confidence and ability to work with people of all ages, from paediatrics through to older people.
Engaging with clients and stakeholders to determine occupational therapy needs and goals.
Performing client assessment including using observational skills, task specific assessment and appropriate standardised outcome measures.
Developing professional relationships with clients and their families.
Educating clients and their families on therapies and clinical decision making to allow them to achieve informed decisions and actively participate in therapy.
Applying patient relevant interventions that improve client’s occupation performance and participation
Delivering occupational therapy services across several environments including in clinic, schools, nursing homes and at client’s homes.
Opportunities to expand services across our clinics and rural settings.
Improving knowledge of NDIS requirements and procedures.
Undertaking report writing for the client when required based on assessment and response to therapy.
Engage in ongoing self-directed learning and professional development to ensure evidence based high quality client care.
Maintain accurate client records in line with organisational standards and legal requirements.

About you
We are looking for occupational therapists who are passionate about providing client centred care with a positive attitude towards treating conditions across all ages. The successful candidate must present with:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
APHRA Registration
The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Excellent time management
Integrity and a positive frame of mind
Blue Card for working with children or eligible to obtain one
National Police check for Aged Care work or eligible to obtain one
NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance or eligible to obtain one
Current driver’s license and ability to use own car for work purposes.
Vaccinations up to date (including COVID-19 vax)
