About the role
Duties will include:
Deliver client-driven, evidence-based therapy services in a community setting.
Identify key challenges in a participant’s home or local environment, implementing adaptations and solutions to overcome these.
Self-manage day-to-day client activities to facilitate greater independence and participation in meaningful activities of daily life.
Provide holistic support in partnership with other key stakeholders, including health professionals, family members, and community members.
Provide comprehensive injury management, rehabilitation and prevention services following workplace illness or injury.
Create and evaluate individualised support plans, using activity as a therapeutic tool.
About you
You will be an empathetic and confident communicator, with a passion for supporting a diverse range of clients , ready to hit the ground running in Australia.
Essential requirements include:
Degree level qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Full clean driving licence.
A willingness to complete criminal record check.
Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
Experience working with individuals with a disability is desirable but not essential.
