Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator in our Slabmaking team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

The Slabmaking Department at Port Kembla is responsible for the conversion of blast furnace iron and steel scrap into molten steel and then casting into slabs. We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join the BOS Asset Team within Slabmaking. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mechanical knowledge to effectively coordinate maintenance activities and improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for maximising uptime performance and maintaining and improving plant condition at minimum cost, whilst ensuring zero harm (safety and environment).

In this business-critical role, you will coordinate and execute routine maintenance work and attend to plant mechanical challenges, while also coordinating trade personnel and contractors to deliver a cost-effective, quality focused and flexible maintenance function to the BOS

What Will You Do?

As the Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, you will:

• supervise the day-to-day management of plant maintenance activities, including planning, organising, execution and review of maintenance

• Project & Team Coordination: Manage and track the tutoring team roster, class allocation, lesson schedule, tutor availability and changes alongside content development projects, ensuring all deliverables and deadlines are met.

As the Studio Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the schedules of our award-winning studio team, ensuring that all campaigns are properly resourced, run smoothly, and are delivered on time and within budget.

DOF is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Injury Management Coordinator to join our team In Perth on a part-time basis - 3 days a week.

As the Injury Management Coordinator, you will coordinate and manage the Injury Manage process and Return to Work Program for the APAC region. Tasks will include, but is not limited to:

• Proactively managing the Injury Management Process and Return to Work Programs for DOF - APAC within relevant legislative and company guidelines.
• Ensuring the relevant Country, State or Territory specific Worker’s Compensation legislation is adhered to.
• Managing work and non-work related injuries or illnesses to deliver the best outcome to the employee and Company.
• Managing insurance claims in conjunction with Insurance Specialist and aligned with the DOF Claims process.
• Liaising with the company appointed workers compensation insurers and brokers to ensure there is continual high level strategic analysis of claims to help mitigate costs and ensure workers resume their normal duties as soon as practicable.
• Assisting the HSEQ management team with claim analysis to identify the agency of injuries to address shortfalls.
• Attending claims reviews with insurers on a quarterly basis ensuring effective management and coordination of work-related injuries and illnesses.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Injury Management Coordinator, including Return to Work Programs in a similar role
• Experience in SOLV Injury management Software essential
• In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

First Focus, Australia's best national Managed Service Provider, is seeking a people focused Branch Manager/HR Generalist, on a full-time basis at our office in the Brisbane CBD. The ideal candidate will have experience working as an office manager or Executive Assistant in a professional services environment with some HR responsibility

About the role

This role revolves around people and has two main parts. First, you will be responsible for the office environment in our Brisbane branch, driving employee engagement and being an ambassador of the First Focus values! And then you will support people managers across our national business, assisting with coordination in areas such as compliance, performance management and training.

Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you will maintain an exceptional culture and working environment in our Brisbane CBD office and ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. You will build strong personal relationships with every member of the Queensland team and be the eyes, ears, hands and feet of the People function in Queensland.

In addition, there will be opportunities to get involved in number of different people functions across the organisation including training, onboarding, performance, employee relations and compliance. As the role develops, creating and delivering training, implementing new employee benefits, coordinating areas of compliance and contributing to outstanding teamwide communication may all come into the scope of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of happiness and employee engagement in our Brisbane office
• Day to day management of office facilities, vendors and equipment
• Be the ‘feet on the ground’ for people managers with remote employees in Brisbane
• Provide an exceptional experience for new employees joining our Brisbane team through organic or acquisitive growth
• Prepare training content and/or deliver training to various teams across the organisation
• Assist people managers by coordinating documentation and compliance in areas like employee relations, compliance and performance
• Administer applications and systems including our LMS, employee engagement software and performance management system
• Form part of a broader team of Branch Managers overseeing employee engagement across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines

• Office management experience, ideally in a professional services environment

• Highly developed emotional intelligence and a passion for people
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• A warm personality and a great sense of humor!

• Contribute to and support delivery of the Australia and New Zealand and Asia-Pacific marketing and business development plan, working with directors, sector specialists, external suppliers and business generation and marketing teams.
• Support the identification of key market trends, and support the translation of these into market reports, campaigns and initiatives that enable us to engage the market.
• Generate a drumbeat of news to provide consistent external profile for website, social media and EDM distribution.
• Create a pipeline of internal profile-raising content that is aligned to the Australia and New Zealand business plan.
• Develop and cascade our pipeline of brand raising activities to ensure we maintain a strong profile with both our current and target clients.
• Manage the production of key marketing collateral working with sector, key account leaders and campaign teams.
• Coordinate the identification, production and high-quality submission of industry awards.
• Support the development and coordination of external events such as roundtables and seminars.
• Coordinate our presence at industry events and conferences, ensuring return on investment from sponsorships, conferences and initiatives.
• Manage the execution and analysis of marketing initiatives and return on investment.
• Be the custodian of brand across Australia and New Zealand, including delivery of training and managing roll out of new templates or tools.
• Support and champion national and Asia-Pacific Business Generation initiatives both within your own team and nationally as appropriate.
