We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to generate further business growth across the corporate, leisure and MICE markets at the Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of Hotel Sales & Marketing. It is ideally suited to a candidate who has studied Business and/or Marketing (or similar) and has some experience of the hotel industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Grow existing business and develop sales opportunities to develop new business. Identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities.
- Sell all facets of the Hotel - including Rooms, Food & Beverage and Meeting & Events.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Host and conduct familiarisations and site inspections for prospective and existing clients
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to successfully explain and sell services and facilities to guests
- Maintain effective communication with the Director of Sales and Marketing, providing market intelligence on a regular basis and an understanding of competitor strengths, weaknesses and ongoing sales activities
- Assist, implement and monitor sales strategies across all market segments
- Participate and represent the hotel at key industry/trade events
