About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our team in a newly created role as our Spare Parts Supervisor. In this role you will be responsible for the development and the ongoing management of the Branch Store and workshop inventory locations within the Branch, whilst ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and operational targets.

Key opportunities for this role include:

·         Conduct routine tasks to satisfy Branch demands and requirements through the effective management of:

o   Receiving stock off purchase orders and transfers.

o   Receiving stock from PDC - manifest checking

o   Inventory transfers to correct inventory location as required Using SJC as reference

• Picking & transferring

·         Conduct Weekly/ Monthly branch cycle counts as required by the business to ensure an accurate stock count.

·         Complete pre-stocktake and six-monthly parts stocktake for the branch store and workshop inventory locations

·         Identifying operational improvements and in consultation with the Workshop Manager establishing an action and implementation plan.

What this role involves

• Assist and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office & Food & Beverage team

We are seeking a Branch Supervisor who will be primarily responsible for inbound inquiries while maintaining and growing a small pool of existing accounts. They will act as the primary point of contact locally and ensure smooth daily branch operations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and branch custodian, handling customer service and sales, assisting walk-in customers, answering phone calls, and performing occasional ad hoc customer visits.
• Manage a large SKU environment with a background in buying and selling, particularly in welding processes and products.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized branch, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the local team, and escalating any issues to management promptly.
• Manage a portfolio of smaller accounts, acting as the primary point of contact. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, building strong relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Drive sales and revenue growth within accounts, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Complete all sales reporting requirements accurately and timely within ACL systems.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and ensure successful project execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members, ensuring proactive issue resolution to keep projects on track and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Attend daily sales huddles and weekly meetings, following the ACL sales process consistently.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Experience in sales and/or customer service roles, including B2B supply dealing with a large number of SKUs.
• Proven track record in achieving results and providing strong leadership.
• General knowledge of welding processes and products.
• Competence in using systems, including CRM and ERP (Netsuite experience is advantageous).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and be an all-rounder in various branch operations.
• Sales mindset with a love for helping people (colleagues and customers).
• Friendly nature with solid attention to detail and a process-driven approach.

What’s in It for You

• Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum.
• Additional benefits include a vehicle, phone, and potential profit share.
• Work from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility for early starts or late stays.
