Rockstar Sealing is seeking a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player, with excellent customer service, hands on skills to join our growing business in our Melbourne team. We are after a long term team member who will grow with the business for the many years to come in the future.

We specialise in Polishing and Repairing marble and other stone surfaces. Due to an ever increasing demand for Stone Restoration in the Melbourne area we now require another full time on site technician dedicated to the Melbourne area.

Requirements
Be able to speak fluent English and have a clean tidy appearance to deal with customers on site.
Full Australian residency and able to work a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Full unrestricted manual drivers licence
Clean driving history in the last 5 years
Experience Required
You will need to have 12 month experience in stone restoration. This will include:
Knowledge about stone to identify stone types
Have knowledge of stone formation/creation and processing
Use of a floor polisher and other hand restoration tools
Experience using diamond abrasive pads on floors and benchtops
Experience using specialised polishing compounds to polish benchtops and floors.
Experience using a range of penetrating sealers
Experience mixing glues and colours to complete repairs
Experience using specialised polishing compounds to polish benchtops and floors.
Experience using a range of penetrating sealers
Experience mixing glues and colours to complete repairs
Ability to problem solve on the job

Position Details
You will be responsible for polishing and restoring stone surfaces in prestige homes and buildings, dealing with clients face to face in order to leave a positive lasting impression with every client.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 /year plus some allowances may apply in addition to the salary

Role Overview: They are seeking a talented Product Manager (Retail Buyer - Toys) to join their team. Reporting to the General Manager, Sales and Sourcing, you will be responsible for sourcing and selecting products that align with their diverse market strategy and customer needs. This full-time, ongoing role offers a competitive salary, negotiable in the range of $120k to $130k plus applicable superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new product ranges for Australian and international markets across all toy categories, with a primary focus on impulse, plush, arts and crafts, boys, and girls.

• Conduct thorough market research via diverse channels to identify new product opportunities, staying abreast of market trends, NPD data, and competitor products

• Develop and execute effective buying strategies for all toy categories,

• Source and select products that meet market trends and consumer demands.

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.

• Collaborate with the General Manager and sales team to ensure product assortments align with business objectives.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify potential new suppliers.

• Conduct regular performance reviews of product categories and recommend improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 2 to 3, preferably more, years of proven experience as a Retail Buyer, preferably within the toy or wholesale sector, with demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.

• Understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour.

• Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.

• Proficiency in managing an extremely fast paced / high demand position and navigating workplace dynamics

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and meet tight deadlines.

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent international travel, sometimes scheduled with minimal notice.

• Tertiary qualifications in a highly relevant discipline are highly regarded however we will accept other qualifications, such as a relevant Cert IV (or agreed substitute) if other relevant professional experience is attractive.

• Unrestricted rights to work full time in Australia.
