The Commercial Products team manages a fleet of custom-built systems that perform critical functions for our Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance, and Presentation teams. These systems allow us to sell ads into our linear broadcast schedules and manage all revenue associated with broadcast.

Your expertise will help enhance our CRM capabilities and drive business efficiencies.

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications in Salesforce media cloud

• Collaborate other developers in the Commercial Products team to ensure changes, data models and integrations to other systems maintains a consistent level of technical standards set by the team.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to associate and mid level engineers.

• Strong focus on security practices

• Developing and maintaining system architecture and documentation

• Participate in and, when required, facilitate team ceremonies

• Work with other engineers to peer review code, work through problem-solving, advise on best practices and help to champion a high standard of excellent

• Strong data management skills to ensure performant data operations and adherence to agreed data model designs.

• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and industry trends to recommend enhancements and new features

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of tasks within the Media Services Department. The primary responsibility is to service the replay requirements of productions taking place in the studios. Additionally, it is responsible for servicing the record and export needs of both internal and external departments. This role is crucial in completing all scheduled jobs to a technically accurate level, ensuring the highest quality output. 

Day to day you will be responsible for:

• The smooth running of area and completion of all bookings 
• Error free ingests and records. Adapting to varied and complex program formats.
• The knowledge of all relevant equipment and the willingness to assist internal & external clients to complete their bookings 
• Maintaining technically accurate records, replays, archive and playouts 
• Assisting in the principal goal of maintaining the continuity and quality of Nines transmission
• Dealing with pressure, prioritising and performing duties with minimum delay
• Ensuring and encouraging a free flow of information across the department and inter departments 
• Setting up and operating various broadcast equipment including EVS

• Serve as Nine’s primary spokesperson, managing media inquiries and public image.
• Develop and execute media outreach plans, including press releases, op-eds, and media pitches to secure coverage.
• Develop and execute advocacy strategies to influence public policy and regulatory matters that impact Nine.

• Capture photos and videos, create composite images and GIFs as needed - sourcing images, designing in Canva.
• Work to ensure the tone and balance of content is appropriate, targeted, reflects GF’s brand identity and resonates with the audience. 
• Maintain consistent messaging and promptly address any feedback or crises that may arise. 
• Use analytics to make informed strategic decisions. Monitor performance metrics and continuously refine strategies to optimise engagement, reach and brand awareness.
