ABOUT THE ROLE....
The Store Cashier and HR/Payroll Manager multiple roles as follows. Store Cashier, requiring to undertake the banking, balancing of the cash safe and supplying change daily to the Customer Service Department.
As HR/Payroll Support the duties include ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll as well as assisting the Store and Department Managers in the implementation of Human Resources best practice.

In this role you will be Responsible for:
Cashier
o Answer incoming telephone calls and direct to the correct department
o Daily banking including balancing of cash registers as/if required and report to Customer Service Supervisor any discrepancies of takings
o Balance cash to daily financial reports
o Deposit cash, cheques with Bank on a daily basis
o Provide change to the Customer Services Department on a daily basis
o Balance cash safe as required
o Maintenance of Customer accounts including the distribution of them each month, sourcing invoice copies and the pursuing of those that are overdue.
o Collect, deliver and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail
o Operation and balancing of cash register as/if required

Human Resources
o Maintain Online applications so the Store and Department Managers can easily access applications from prospective employees
o Assist in the organisation of interviews as required including:

o Ensure employee SF-18 ‘Notification of New Employee’ form is completed and forwarded to Support Office as/if required

? Department walk on the day of commencement of employment
? Bernardi Group induction is undertaken within 2 weeks of commencement of employment

o Ensure all required paperwork is filed on employee personnel file
o Assist in HR/Payroll Audit as if required
o HR quarterly agenda (WHS, in the Aisle talk, training, behaviour reminders) need to be completed within the current Qtr. Must work with relevant managers to ensure it’s all done on time.
o Liaise with Department Managers and Store Managers to ensure all employees participate in ‘In the Aisle’ talks
o Organise uniforms for all employees as/if required

Payroll
o Ensure the Store’s payroll is ready for processing by Support Office by no later than pay Monday at 12 noon including:
? Accurate input and checking of timesheets including ensuring employee shifts are allocated to correct departments and employee leave taken is correctly recorded
? Compilation and completion of Payroll Adjustment form including employee leave, required employee deductions, etc.
? Create new employees in Payroll
o Assisting support office with payroll/HR duties as required
o Other duties including customer service and use of registers as required

The Client:
First Derivatives is a leading provider of products and consulting services to some of the world’s largest finance, technology and energy institutions. They now seek an experienced Business Analyst to join the team in Sydney. The Business Analyst’s primary role is to work on a global investment bank's surveillance system that runs on KX technology to identify and detect potential market abuse.

This is for a full time role with an annual salary of $130,000 + Superannuation.


The Responsibilities:
· Create mapping specifications used to integrate trading data into the surveillance system.
· Develop and maintain tools to automate the analysis of large data sets, including real time data feeds and historical data.
· Work with cross functional teams to gather and document business requirements for surveillance tools and systems.
· Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and optimise surveillance tools and systems.
· Lead the elicitation, definition, prioritisation and validation of requirements and design of business processes to meet the needs of the client

The Requirements:
· Expected to be educated to a minimum of some post graduate degree level preferably in a STEM course
· A combination of a numerical background and a business analyst background is mandatory
· At least 4 years working in a high-performance computing environment in the capital markets or investment banking industry to include an appreciation of a range of asset classes
· At least 4 years of relevant business analyst working experience in financial industry capacity
· At least 4 years working experience in KX technology
· At least 4 years proficiency in using RDBMS concepts and worked with Oracle, MYSQL and SQL server

The role

As a Payroll Manager at Retinue, you will be leading and growing a team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse client base. Leveraging your extensive experience in payroll processing, you will support our team to ensure that our clients' payroll operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with tax legislation.

Our Payroll team are not responsible for calculating employee hours, rates of pay or entitlements, which we consider to be employment relations work and outside the scope of our payroll processing service. We are however responsible for helping our clients make payroll processing less of a burden and making sense of complex ATO/tax obligations

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership of our payroll team, ensuring that payroll processing for our clients is completed on time, is accurate, and hassle-free.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation and reporting requirements of different states and territories.
• Oversee superannuation reconciliations and lodgements.
• Ensure the team are accurately reporting, managing and lodging payroll information through the Single Touch Payroll system.

• Experience in providing ongoing development and training to members of a payroll team.
• Xero payroll software experience is essential; experience using MYOB highly advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of tax legislation to the extent it relates to payroll processing.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Analyst (SRMA) with Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) expertise to join our busy and expanding Sydney-based Infrastructure team, who are advising clients on a range of high-profile infrastructure projects across Australia. This role will suit a Senior Risk Analyst who is skilled in developing QRAs from a rail, aviation, water/utilities, energy or defence background with proven experience of QCRA and QSRA compilation and a detailed understanding of risk management processes.

The Senior Risk Analyst will coordinate the compilation of the necessary project and risk data, model this at a package and project level to provide probabilistic certainty to the project. The SRMA will provide reports on the QRA modelling and scenario outcomes.

The primary purpose of the role is to lead the QRA risk modelling function on a complex infrastructure project. In addition to providing quantitative risk modelling assessments, the SRMA will be required to undertake sensitivity and scenario analyses.

As a Senior Payroll Officer at Retinue, you will be joining a growing team responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse client base. Leveraging your extensive experience in payroll processing, you will ensure that our clients' payroll operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant with tax legislation.

The Senior Business Analyst’s responsibilities include:

• Gathering and documenting requirements: Gather, review, analyse, validate, evaluate, and map business systems, processes and user needs and translate them into requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria
• Managing stakeholders: Engage, inform and negotiate with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them
• Analysing and modelling: Analyse documents, programs, logic, process flows and specifications.  Model the requirements using a range of techniques such as process mapping, story mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria, business rules
• Managing the requirements lifecycle: Ensure that requirements/user stories are prioritised based on their value, complexity, and feasibility, ensuring that the most critical items are delivered first
• Team communication and collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers Third Party members within the product/platform/project team to ensure everyone understands business requirements to be able to develop a fit-for-purpose solution
• Risk and issue management:  Identify risks and issues and develop effective mitigation/management strategies according to Rest’s risk framework, and communicate risk assessments and plans to the necessary stakeholders.

Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee To support the oversight of capital, model risk and broader financial risk management Location: Sydney Type: Permanent, Full Time The opportunity A role has become available in the Financial Risk Management (FRM) team in QBE that will require the ideal candidate to: Work with the FRM team members to support the oversight of capital, model risk management and and the key financial risks (credit, liquidity, market) while collaborating with stakeholders in Division Risk teams, Group Finance, Treasury, and Group Investment teams. Identify opportunities to improve risk management processes and their implementation to enhance data analysis and decision-making. Group Risk has a focus on building deep understanding of the business and the risk environment to support business outcomes. FRM are a key player in this strategic objective. Therefore, this role will help FRM build technical expertise and insights to embed sustainable and effective risk management practices. Your new role In this role you will: Utilise your general insurance knowledge, financial and actuarial expertise to support the review of capital processes including Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Economic Capital modelling (ECM), regulatory capital and other critical business processes. Support the implementation of QBE Group Model and UDA governance framework including development of tools and best practices across the Group. Support FRM team members develop operationally efficient solutions using machine learning and other AI solutions (to identify key drivers of these risks and enhance risk controls) for the oversight of key financial risks including liquidity, credit, market. Ensure compliance with QBE policies and procedures and relevant legislation. Establish and maintain a good working relationship within the FRM, Group risk teams and broader business areas.
