What you’ll do

This is your opportunity to be a big part of something big by supporting our global CEO so that every day runs as smoothly as possible. Your day-to-day will be varied but some of what it will entail includes:

• Ensuring our CEO stays organised and on top of everything that he needs to in our fast-paced business – managing his diary; responding to emails and calls; travel and accommodation management; prioritising tasks; processing expense claims and credit card reconciliation; scheduling Board meetings and other meetings, events and functions; coordinating monthly Board packs; organising catering requirements, etc.
• Providing support to the wider Executive Leadership Team on an ad-hoc basis. This may include, but isn’t limited to, stepping in to create meeting agendas or take minutes, booking travel, document preparation, manage expenses and anything else that may come up from time to time.
• Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Taking pride in keeping our CEO well informed and up to date of changing priorities and any key issues that may arise. You’ll also collate any information needed to assist the CEO in making choices in relation to these

As a Board member, you will provide a pivotal role in governing the organisation and making strategic decisions to guide our company's vision and ensure sustainable growth.

Your strategy thinking, expertise, and leadership will influence critical decisions, empowering our organisation to reach new heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the performance of EACH and ultimately responsible for all activities
• Collaborate with fellow board members to set and execute strategic objectives
• Provide valuable knowledge and insights to drive informed decision-making
• Uphold the highest standards of governance and ethics, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations
• Keep abreast of and contribute to the overall ongoing financial viability of the organisation
• Act as a steward for stakeholders' interests, fostering transparency and trust
• Commit the time required to fully exercise the duties required of the position (approximately 10 hours per month)
• Attend a minimum of 80% of all Board and Committee meetings (in person -Melbourne) and attend the annual Board Retreat
• Participate in at least one formal Board sub-Committee (bi-monthly or quarterly, online)

About the Job

• Provide exceptional assistance to the Chief Risk Officer and their Leadership team ensuring efficient office operations, email, and diary management.
• Complex presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and graphs; transcribeing information of a technical, confidential and or sensitive nature.
• Screen mail and callers, respond to and route inquiries to appropriate as necessary; determine importance and priority of various issues and determine what major issues should be brought to the attention of the Chief Risk Officer.
• Research, compile, summarise, and analyse information to respond to various inquiries from internal and external sources.
• Work in conjunction with the Risk and Governance Leadership team to ensure the smooth running of the function.
• Manage the organisation of critical Risk and Governance Forums and meetings including scheduling and invitations, booking rooms, setting up agendas, minute taking, organising catering and distribution of meeting documentation and minutes.
• Circulation of reminders of outstanding action items, project reports and documentatio
• Maintain all team documentation and information 
• Assist the Chief Risk Officer in preparation and submission of reports and presentations to Rest Committees and Board 
• Complete expense reporting and track budget expenditures for the team.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated integrated comms Business Director who is well connected in Victoria with business connections and with the media and who can create new opportunities that take our agency to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the PR industry, across both corporate and consumer PR and have solid social media and creative content experience. The person must demonstrate strategic thinking, business acumen and have strong leadership skills with proven capability to grow a client portfolio.

This role will help drive operational process excellence, ensuring key stages of projects are executed efficiently and within budget, with a strong commercial mindset, managing financial forecasting, profitability and team resourcing.

• Work across a diverse and high-profile  corporate and consumer client portfolio
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve financial
• Manage and develop client relationships to deliver client growth
• Identify new market opportunities and trends to stay ahead in the local PR landscape
• Play an active role in lead generation and business development efforts and the conversion of clients

About You

• Australian visa holder - will consider visa sponsorship for a stellar candidate
• Tertiary qualified 12+ years of agency experience in the PR industry
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a PR agency delivering integrated earned-first campaigns for global brands
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development
• Ability to inspire and lead a team to achieve exceptional results
• Delivery of best practice multichannel storytelling with exceptional writing skills
• Experience in B2B and B2C storytelling
• Experience delivering in a fast-paced environment and displaying logical thinking, forward planning, and the ability to manage up and down
• An established network of relationships with media, influencers, suppliers and key stakeholders
