• Design and deliver tailored supply chain solutions, leveraging app technology for track-and-trace capabilities, and integrating our warehousing and trucking services for seamless door-to-door solutions.
• Implement effective customer relationship strategies, including regular call cycles, client entertainment, and other communication initiatives to enhance engagement.
• Negotiate and close sales deals at optimal pricing and yield, always adhering to company guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the international sales team to coordinate proactive and responsive sales actions, ensuring timely distribution and response to sales leads and market intelligence.
• Maintain excellence in written communication, including precise and professional quotations, sales leads, and reports.
• When applicable, lead the identification, negotiation, management, and execution of special events, trade shows, and retail functions.
• Consistently represent the brand with integrity, ensuring positive client relationships and open doors for future business.
• Perform other duties as required to support the team and business objectives

Job Description

We seek a passionate and enthusiastic business manager for our hospital. As an integral leadership team member, the business manager will be responsible for business development, strategy, and operational and financial management, working closely with specialist veterinarians, hospital veterinarians, nurses, technical staff and support teams. This role is supported by a strong hospital management team and the broader support network of the Greencross Pet Wellness Company.

Business Manager responsibilities include:

• Financial leadership, reporting and P&L responsibilities for the hospital, including annual budgeting
• Leading and building teams of industry leading veterinarians and nurses.
• Project management within the hospital
• Business strategic planning and execution
• Relationship building with our valued referring veterinarians
• Marketing and promotional coordination

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have substantial business operations knowledge and experience and be an approachable and influential leader who desires to help others succeed and grow. The preferred candidate will bring a strong track record of experience in the veterinary industry. Postgraduate qualifications in a related field, such as business, commerce, business management or similar, will be highly regarded.

In this role you will:
