The Hay Multipurpose Service (MPS) includes a 27 bed hospital with 9 acute beds and 16 residential aged care beds and general practice services. Hay MPS provides a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department which is equipped with Telehealth cameras to connect the team in Hay with Specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service, helping to ensure you get the care you need.
A range of primary health care services are also provided at Hay MPS including
Community nursing
Early childhood nursing
Mental health services
Palliative care
Physiotherapy
Speech therapy
Nutrition.
About the Role:
As the Facility Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of nursing and other clinical and non-clinical support services at our facility. Your primary focus will be on providing safe, compassionate, person-centred care. You will collaborate with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring the achievement of safe, quality care outcomes that meet the goals of each individual at the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Inspire and manage a diverse team of nurses and healthcare staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight: Ensure the efficient operation of the facility, including patient care, resource allocation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of patient care by implementing best practices and quality improvement initiatives.
Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource utilisation to optimise operational efficiency.
Professional Development: Mentor and support staff in their professional growth, providing opportunities for training and career advancement.

Requirements:
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
