Reporting to the Practice Delivery Manager Project Management, the Project Manager is responsible for working with Project stakeholders within Regulatory Compliance Portfolio Team and the Business to deliver successful Project outcomes by initiating, planning, leading and managing projects to deliver business solutions. The role requires monitoring and regular reporting on Project progress in line with Project Management Framework. With specific focus on skill requirement for BPMN 2.0 and system implementation experience.   This role will support a workstream which captures process mapping and implementation of Tooling system.

• Manage material regulatory requirements by overseeing the governance and management of large-scale reforms assigned by Rest’s Regulatory Compliance Portfolio team

• Delivery – Manage projects from initiation through to closure, to ensure that projects are appropriately structured to achieve the maximum chance of success (time, budget, scope, quality).  Ensure efficient and timely monitoring and reporting to required stakeholders. Ideally have process elicitation and documentation in BPMN 2.0 and system implementation experience.
• Financial Management – Manage the preparation of project cost estimates for gating submission/funding approval, and subsequently manage and report project delivery against agreed costs, to; maximise operational efficiency, optimise the cost / benefits of resource mix, forecast and manage the cost impacts of scope change.
• Benefit Management –Monitor benefits against what was predicted in the business case and ensure all participants are informed and involved throughout the change programme. Awareness of dependences between the project and its benefits and actively managing these in liaison with the impacted REST business units.
• Stakeholder management – Engage, inform and negotiate with regulatory change stakeholders, particularly the sponsor, business owner, impacted Rest business units, vendors and parties responsible for the services after project completion, to identify, manage and monitor compliance with reform obligations.
• Project Governance – Adherence to Rest delivery methodology and governance framework to ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of their role and that the required decision making and escalation processes are in place to help achieve the required outcomes.
• Partner and vendor management – Manage vendors to deliver solutions for the project to ensure adherence to schedule, quality outcomes, cost effectiveness, appropriate risk management and seamless integration with other project delivery streams, including:

• Define (in consultation with the legal team where appropriate) the commercial framework/terms;
• Monitor and report progress and performance against agreed deliverables and quality and performance expectations;
• Manage contractual performance and quality, ensuring program requirements are met effectively/efficiently and problems are managed and escalated when required.
   

• Risk and Issue Management – Effectively manage risks and issues by identifying and documenting risks and issues to projects and developing effective mitigation/management strategies according to Rest risk framework by:

• Leading and managing the identification of risks and impacts associated with project delivery.
• Managing and leading the development of risk mitigation plans
• Facilitating informed risk management decisions by reporting and communicating risk assessments and plans to the necessary stakeholders
• Direct the identification, monitoring, reporting and escalation of issues and/or problems associated project delivery, including challenging and influencing stakeholders as required to enable the achievement of project deliverables and benefits.

Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our member communication and marketing strategy ensuring that our members are well-informed and engaging with their Rest accounts. 

You will undertake compliance reviews of Rest’s Digital, Brand and Member Experience content, ensuring it aligns with the latest regulatory and legislative standards. You'll play a critical role in the due diligence process to enable seamless, clear, and compliant communication between Rest and our members.  

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Conduct compliance due diligence reviews for all Digital, Brand and Member Experience content included in communications and digital experiences provided to our Members.
• Ensure that the content generated by Rests’ Digital, Brand and Member Experience is compliant and aligned to industry best practice whist accurately representing Rest’s Vision and Brand
• Be the Compliance SME for review of Digital, Brand and Member Experience content and make recommendations for and manage engagement with the internal legal team as required.
• Provide content compliance advice and guidance to the Digital, Brand and Member Experience Leadership teams, representing Line 2 Compliance
• Provide ongoing training to develop the Rest Digital, Brand and Member Experience teams’ knowledge regarding advertising and marketing compliance and industry best practice.

This role is to support the execution of change programs for an enterprise-wide data transformation initiative at work in partnership with the Data, Technology & Delivery Team, and enterprise stakeholders.

This role is expected to work across both agile and waterfall initiatives, working closely with product owners, scrum masters, project/delivery leads and human centred design practices. This role will span multiple programs of work being delivered as a portfolio of change.

• Work closely with executives, sponsors and other stakeholders and assist them with providing change management delivery on a portfolio of projects which may cover technology, business change, people change and product change.
• Work with the Delivery Leads and organisation change management project leads to provide a portfolio view of business and technology change.
• Key change management activities may include:
  • Cross delivery stream change impact aggregation and management
  • Assessing change impact for cross stream scope changes
  • Consolidated change management plan including stakeholder management plan (Program level view of stakeholders and potential cross stream overlaps)
  • Program level communications plan and execution
  • Identify training / education synergies across delivery streams.
  • Work with executives, sponsors, and other stakeholders to help drive the change outcomes.
  • Assist with the definition of the people and cultural elements of the desired state and ensure that they are integrated with the technical and operational elements.
  • Assist with identifying the human variables that will impact risk/success and provide support to put in place measurable criteria of those variables.
  • Help identify the key roles and expectations of the sponsors of change, those who implement the changes, and the employee base who must operate in a constantly changing environment.

The Platform Engineering Manager will oversee and lead the team responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising Rest’s API and Digital platforms, ensuring APIs and digital capabilities meet business objectives, security standards, and scalability requirements. The Platform Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in providing automated capabilities to streamline development and operation of APIs by implementing tools and processes that facilitate API creation, testing, documentation, monitoring, scaling, reliability, and performance.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, document, and execute our strategic vision and set technical direction of our API platform. Set development standards, best practices and guidelines for API development, performance, and operations.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, technical product owner and engineers to define scalable, reliable, and efficient APIs that meet business needs.
• Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, goals and performance review.
• Work closely with product managers to ensure APIs are integrated seamlessly into products and services.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and documentation guidelines to ensure APIs are robust, well-tested, and well-documented to minimise the risk of bugs and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee the entire API lifecycle, including versioning, deprecation, and sunsetting of APIs.
• Drive initiatives to introduce observability, monitoring and optimization of API performance, stability, and reliability to handle increased traffic and usage, proactively addressing bottlenecks and issues.
• Implement security best practices in the SDLC of APIs to protect sensitive data, ensure compliance with regulators standards, and manage APIs access and authentication.
• Oversee the release process for APIs in every stage. Have contingency plans in place to address potential deployment failures or disruptions. Drive culture of zero-downtime deployments.
• Regularly update leadership and other technical stakeholders on the achievements, risks control plans and security issues remediation related to our API platform.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues, outages, and incidents affecting API platform promptly. Collaborate with relevant teams to diagnose and mitigate problems.
• Identify, assess, and prioritise risks associated with API development, deployment, and maintenance, and develop proactive strategies and controls to mitigate these risks.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to APIs. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance security, and optimise costs.

About the Job

The purpose of Rest’s Investment Product & Communication team is to grow member trust with simple connections to Rest’s Investments.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide effective and timely investment analysis and information, and support as Subject Matter Expert, to Rest Business Units and external stakeholders for the purpose of Rest’s investment, engagement, education, business development, marketing and communications effort.

Assist in ensuring the ongoing product integrity for the investment activities within Rest’s investment options, provide insight on competitor propositions and identify opportunities for Rest for future investment product initiatives.

The nature of the role will differ depending on the skillset of the successful candidate. However, the key responsibilities are likely to include:

• Being a conduit between the investment team and Rest’s internal and external stakeholders you will help create and develop key investment narrative on a regular basis, articulating investment themes across the portfolio and key developments in our responsible investment initiatives.
• Being a key point of contact for internal stakeholders with the investment team, you will help establish regular forums with peers in Rest business units for the conveying of investment updates, supporting marketing initiatives and providing educational content. 
• Prepare and update investment content in publications, presentations, and education and training materials for internal and external stakeholders. This includes investment related materials for sales presentations, investment updates, reports and investment data for members, employers, regulatory bodies, research and rating houses, and asset consultants.
• Review, prepare and provide Investments team sign-off for all relevant investment related materials as required in accordance with Rest’s due diligence procedures.
• Review, revise and prepare all investment related information in collaboration with Rest stakeholders across multiple mediums, such as, but not limited to: Product Disclosure Statements, annual reports, Rest website and intranet
• Understand competitors’ investment positioning and communications with a view of influencing the way Rest positions, engages and communicates investment information to both internal and external stakeholders.
