About the Job
The purpose of Rest’s Investment Product & Communication team is to grow member trust with simple connections to Rest’s Investments.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide effective and timely investment analysis and information, and support as Subject Matter Expert, to Rest Business Units and external stakeholders for the purpose of Rest’s investment, engagement, education, business development, marketing and communications effort.
Assist in ensuring the ongoing product integrity for the investment activities within Rest’s investment options, provide insight on competitor propositions and identify opportunities for Rest for future investment product initiatives.
The nature of the role will differ depending on the skillset of the successful candidate. However, the key responsibilities are likely to include:
- Being a conduit between the investment team and Rest’s internal and external stakeholders you will help create and develop key investment narrative on a regular basis, articulating investment themes across the portfolio and key developments in our responsible investment initiatives.
- Being a key point of contact for internal stakeholders with the investment team, you will help establish regular forums with peers in Rest business units for the conveying of investment updates, supporting marketing initiatives and providing educational content.
- Prepare and update investment content in publications, presentations, and education and training materials for internal and external stakeholders. This includes investment related materials for sales presentations, investment updates, reports and investment data for members, employers, regulatory bodies, research and rating houses, and asset consultants.
- Review, prepare and provide Investments team sign-off for all relevant investment related materials as required in accordance with Rest’s due diligence procedures.
- Review, revise and prepare all investment related information in collaboration with Rest stakeholders across multiple mediums, such as, but not limited to: Product Disclosure Statements, annual reports, Rest website and intranet
- Understand competitors’ investment positioning and communications with a view of influencing the way Rest positions, engages and communicates investment information to both internal and external stakeholders.
