As the Regional Advisor, Sector Support & Development (SSD), you will play a pivotal role in preparing Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) organizations within the Eastern Metropolitan region, as well as on a national scale, for the evolving landscape of aged care reforms. This position involves fostering collaboration, enhancing provider readiness, and promoting programs underpinned by diversity, wellness, reablement, and restorative care principles. Your goal will be to ensure providers can effectively adapt to these principles while maintaining high-quality services for older Australians.

You will build and nurture strategic partnerships within the CHSP network and the broader aged care system, facilitating communication and sharing best practices. In addition, you will lead efforts to coordinate and deliver impactful training, education, and resource dissemination, helping CHSP providers align with reforms, aged care quality standards, and the new rights-based Aged Care Act.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive provider readiness by embedding aged care reforms, with a focus on diversity, wellness, and reablement.
• Engage CHSP providers to share updates, address issues, and promote resources about aged care reforms.
• Lead and participate in partnerships and networks, strengthening communication pathways at both regional and national levels.
• Broker, coordinate, and deliver training and education to service providers and workforce, with a focus on inclusivity and quality standards.
• Evaluate and support providers in understanding service impact and implementing restorative care principles.

The Home Care Package (HCP) team provide individually planned and coordinated suite of support and services designed to assist older people who need support to remain living independently, in their own homes.  

• Casual position covering the area spanning from Laurieton to Kempsey (office based in Port Macquarie). MUST be living in this LGA. 
• Open to experienced and new Support Workers with a min Cert III in Aged Care
• 25% casual loading + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging to maximise your take home pay

We are looking for a Support Worker to work casually across our Home Care Packages program.  Home Care Packages responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality individualised support and assist our older adult clients, supporting them to maintain and develop their independence so that they can lead enriching and fulfilling lives.
• Follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support and support with personal care in the client's home.
• Assisting with transportation to attend appointments.

As a finance data specialist, you will have the opportunity to focus on designing, building, and validating system solutions to optimise our Finance processes. This will include analysing and maintaining the accuracy of data, producing reports and dashboards, and overseeing our finance systems (NAV, ExpenseMe) and finance datamarts (Jedox), ensuring their continuous enhancement, availability, and accurate master data maintenance.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have extensive demonstrated technical experience combined with broad finance experience in finance processes, financial structures and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Sharp attention to detail as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently to identify and solve system and data issues to achieve finance outcomes.
• Data cleansing and wrangling skills including knowledge and understanding of database structures, relationships/joins and queries including exposure to ETL tools.
• Solid understanding of the relationships between operational systems and the finance system.
• Provide technical support to finance staff.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and projects (Finance, IT, HR etc).
• Experience in creation of complex budget and forecast models.
• Understanding and experience in SQL and other scripting is highly desirable.
• Experience in implementation of finance systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of OLAP tools (Jedox, TM1 etc), MS Nav and ExpenseMe Pro is desirable.

• Part-time (0.6FTE) 2-year contract position beginning July 1st.
• As this is a state-wide service travel is required around Melbourne including regional locations. Office based in Ringwood.
• $41-45.5per hour + Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
