Our Housekeeping department is the heart of our hotel's operations. Our Room Attendants play a crucial role in ensuring the immaculate upkeep and cleanliness of all suites and rooms. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning guest rooms and public areas to the highest standard, maintaining appropriate stock levels of linen and guest amenities, and reporting any lost property in accordance with proper procedures.

As the Talent & Culture Manager, you will play a crucial role in guiding recruitment, training, development, and employee relations, all while ensuring a high level of engagement and meeting business needs. Your responsibilities will include advising leaders on employee relations, policies, and recruitment, leading annual and cyclical people activities such as salary reviews, performance reviews, talent and succession planning, and employee engagement.

You will implement solutions to enhance the employee experience and use data to inform decision-making and influence outcomes with senior leaders. Additionally, you will develop, review, and monitor Talent and Culture procedures and policies, support Portfolio Talent and Culture initiatives, and assist the team in driving and communicating these programs. • Develop and execute creative and innovative pastry and dessert menus that delight our guests

• Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and other baked goods with precision and attention to detail.

As our Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing incoming sales inquiries and converting them into successful business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Qualifying all incoming sales department phone calls and directing them to the appropriate sales representative based on the size and type of event.
• Monitoring the sales enquiry inbox and promptly actioning or distributing leads to the appropriate sales representative.
• Working reactively to convert leads and opportunities for group business, such as meetings, weddings, sporting and leisure groups.
• Assisting the proactive sales team in preparing proposals and contracts for clients, utilizing Opera Sales and Catering and ANAIS.
• Participating in prospecting research to identify new opportunities and conducting market research to source new meetings, conferences, and group business.
• Supporting the proactive sales team with confirming new business, including site inspections, quotes, contracts, and inquiries.
• Conducting regular market analysis to stay informed about trends.
• Having a complete understanding of the hotel’s sales vision, products, services, and rate structure to fulfill business objectives.
• Maintaining and building relationships with existing customers to ensure their business is retained.
• Assisting in managing the smooth running of the sales department through adequate and timely support.

This Financial Controller is directly accountable for the financial information sent to the Hotel General Manager, as well as the respective Accor and Owners representatives. This function can be performed in a hybrid fashion with onsite requirements able to be satisfied by working the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, Peppers Marysville's sister property. 

Primary Responsibilities for the Financial Controller include: 

• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Ensure that all Management Agreements and Owners Corporation matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner – with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist Department Heads/Managers to develop effective measures to enhance their department’s profitability.
• Supply all departments with accurate statistical information on a timely basis, and offer support on finance matters as required.
• Develop and monitor all financial systems for the Hotel with a view to improving and streamlining procedures.
• Ensure that policies and procedures set by Accor are implemented and internal controls are operating effectively.

We want a collaborative + caring + quirky Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our diverse team on a full-time basis. We see this person as being an experienced food and beverage professional; able to assist with day to day operations; willing to coach the team to ensure the delivery of best value quality service; and contribute to a collaborative and caring working environment.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role

With a hands-on approach, you'll actively contribute to revenue growth, cost control, and overall customer satisfaction.
