About the role

• This opening is for a Freight Coordinator to join our team at our Brisbane Airport Location

• This is a Permanent Full Time position, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week (6am Starts)

• Provide timely, accurate and thorough information in response to customer queries and escalations through inbound and outbound customer contact.

• Be willing to dedicate your time to diagnosing freight issues in real time by inspecting and investigating freight throughout the Depot and speaking with numerous staff members on the floor

• Dedicate appropriate amounts of time daily towards office administration as well as inspecting and investigating customer freight queries on the floor and throughout the Depot

• Have a pro-active and strategic mindset to Customer Service by utilising multiple avenues towards problem solving which include liaising with staff, using technology and systems and conducting your own freight inspections to ascertain appropriate solutions

• Be proactive in repacking any freight according to customer requirements

• Following up on processing Repacks, Damaged and Unidentified Freight

• Coordinating with customers face to face who come in to collect any deliveries

What you’ll bring

• You will a customer mindset to drive optimum customer service solutions

• This role will involve manual handling. You must be able to complete a Pre Employment Medical in line with role requirements and Work Health & Safety

• A high attention to detail and Time Management

• Strong Data Entry Skills

• Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not mandatory)

Grow your career with a global retailer as a Supply Chain Coordinator within our National Supply Chain Management department at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will drive the seamless flow of freight through to our distribution centres. With an eye on continuous improvement, increasing the availability and handling of stock, we are looking for a proactive individual with a robust understanding of an agile and fast-paced FMCG environment.

What does the role look like? 

• Provide timely and accurate information related to the status of freight movement to streamline operations and reduce lead times for delivery to our DC's
• Maintaining accuracy of various supply chain matrixes, templates and spreadsheets
• Collaborate with various stakeholders in order to collate accurate information and data
• Build and maintain the relationship with freight carriers and external stakeholders
• Analyse discrepancies while partnering with stakeholders and provide solutions to Deliver On Time (DOT)
• Process high volume of invoices and investigate discrepancies 

The Vehicle Buying Coordinator's key responsibilities are to support the Vehicle Buyers and provide customer service support to their customers.   

The role covers all areas of vehicle purchasing administration and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately, prepared with high quality and in a timely manner. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Maintain and update the Buying CRM (Suga).
• The primary contact for selling customers for documentation, such as registrations, licences, finance letters, ASIC checks etc.
• Coordination of vehicle inspections in all States.
• Oversee all vehicle compliance documentation prior to payment, including service history, warranty paperwork, keys, other parts etc.
• Follow up on all checks and final requirements prior to collection.
• Maintain ongoing contact for any customer enquiries.

The position is very important to the flow of Buying processes and acts as a key intermediary between Buying and Site leaders. The successful incumbent will be encouraged to bring initiatives and experience to further improve customer service efficiencies.
