The Opportunity
Join a market leading organisation and reputable household brand. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Shipping Planner to join a well known company based north of Brisbane. You will be responsible for managing the sustainable delivery of the international logistics strategy. This role is integral to supporting export shipping management, scheduling/planning, including bookings, vessel management, amendments and export document support.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable and execute the shipping logistics plan
Utilising forecasting tools and techniques to drive cost effective freight scheduling and execution - all freight modes
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including supplier partnerships
Generating reports and shipping documentation
Selection Criteria
Proven experience in shipping logistics/management in a fresh food environment
Experience with ERP software, excel and Power BI
Proficiency dealing with international export of chilled and frozen products
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling productive collaboration with teams and corporate stakeholders
