ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a full-time Operations Administrator to join our Aviation team based in Darwin, NT. The primary responsibility of this role is to work closely with our Head of Flight Operations in supporting the overall aviation operation, with a key focus on day to day administration relating to aircraft, aircrew and guest movements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Greet and check in passengers, fostering a welcoming and efficient travel environment.
• Accurately keep flight schedules up to date while sharing essential flight details with team members.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with aviation regulations by organising and filing required documentation.
• Oversee meticulous record-keeping for the timely renewal of pilot licenses, instrument ratings, and medical reviews.
• Monitor flight on-time performance and promptly report any delays to relevant stakeholders for effective communication.
• Efficiently coordinate third-party aircraft charters, ensuring seamless travel arrangements for passengers.
• Respond to and manage communications with our remote Camps and Lodges as and when needed.

ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking a passionate and professional individual who is highly motivated to excel in the role of Aviation Operations Administrator. Ideal candidates will have experience in general aviation or logistics and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently, showcasing a high level of initiative. Excellent time management skills and computer literacy are essential, as is a keen desire to understand the operational requirements of the business.

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Transport office Administrator to join our small close knit team to support the day-to-day operations of GKR Transport in our Redbank Office This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, with extended hours on Tuesdays and Fridays (potentially until 7:00-7:30 pm) to ensure all trucks are prepared and on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing for on-forwarders and provide accurate quotes for other depots
• Handle customer service inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
• Answer incoming calls and liaise directly with clients daily
• Accurately process data entry, check invoicing, and manage consignment notes
• Ensure timely and effective handling of all customer requests

About You

• Minimum 2 years administrative experience preferably in a warehouse, transport or logistics environment.
• Strong communication skills that will allow you to liaise with varied customers.
• A strong proactive customer service approach.
• Reliable, can work independently with minimal supervision and be part of a team in delivering daily results.
• Experience in bookings and coordination transport with approved carriers.
• Understanding of operations process in a distribution company.
• Experience using Office 365.

Our LSM team play a key role in the sourcing and onboarding of freight suppliers for ALDI’s Supply Chain. They are responsible for managing and maintaining the relationships with our third-party providers and conducting analysis as required.

What does the role look like?

• Source and onboard supply chain partners across freight and warehousing markets • Maintain, and manage relationships with various suppliers
• Develop and maintain a register of freight rates ensuring information is accurate
• Obtain and verify transport rates from logistics service providers to determine market rates for specific lanes 
• Manage contracts and coordinate flow of information from internal and external stakeholders
• Analyse discrepancies and develop solutions to minimise operational and financial impact 
• Deliver on project initiatives and deadlines as required

This consists of the delivery of appliances at customers’ premises in a timely and professional manner. The Transport Admin will operate with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team. Position Responsibilities: 

• Schedule and coordinate transportation activities, including the movement of goods and personnel.
• Liaise with drivers, and customers to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Manage and update transportation databases and records accurately.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments, warehouse, and customer service, to optimise transportation processes.
• Approving contractor invoices. 
• Follow up on missing payments, manifests and outstanding return orders.
• Optimise transportation schedules to maximise efficiency and reduce operating costs.
