Reporting into the Transport Manager, the Transport Administrator is responsible for daily delivery operations. This consists of the delivery of appliances at customers’ premises in a timely and professional manner. The Transport Admin will operate with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team. The Transport Admin will operate and align with company values.
Position Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate transportation activities, including the movement of goods and personnel.
- Liaise with drivers, and customers to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- Manage and update transportation databases and records accurately.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments, warehouse, and customer service, to optimise transportation processes.
- Approving contractor invoices.
- Follow up on missing payments, manifests and outstanding return orders.
- Optimise transportation schedules to maximise efficiency and reduce operating costs.
