Job Description:
Research, analyse, and recommend strategies for network architecture and development, implement, manage, maintain, and configure network hardware and software, and monitor and optimise performance, and troubleshoot and provide user support.
Task:
Design, implement, and maintain computer networks, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
Determine software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Adapting existing programs to meet users’ requirements
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
Conduct regular security audits and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Designing and maintaining websites
Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers, and modems
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Network Analyst, or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
