Job Title: Cafe Manager
Location: The Leaf Kitchen, Southport, QLD
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaboratively design seasonal menus with the chef team, ensuring innovative and cost-effective offerings that align with our brand and customer preferences.
• Coordinate and execute special events and functions, tailoring each occasion to exceed guest expectations while maintaining budgetary oversight.
• Manage procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers to secure quality ingredients and products at competitive prices within budget constraints.
• Maintain meticulous records of stock levels and financial transactions to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
• Uphold stringent compliance with health regulations, maintaining a clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing dining environment.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback on their dining experience, implementing improvements to ensure high satisfaction levels.
• Lead, train, and supervise a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence in service and teamwork.
• Handle reservations, warmly greet guests, and occasionally assist in order taking to ensure a personalised customer service experience.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Develop marketing strategies to promote special dishes or events at the café.
• Implement innovative technologies for more efficient service management, such as digital ordering systems.
• Oversee the maintenance and aesthetic upkeep of the café to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week
Education Required: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
