ROLE PURPOSE

The Digital Executive is responsible for ensuring that clients’ investment delivers against their business objectives whilst also building strong relationships with them. 

The Digital Executive works closely with their Managers and Directors to ensure best in class Paid Search and Paid Social solutions are delivered to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Implementation

• Reviewing and responding to client briefs. Ensuring smooth implementation and delivery of Google and Facebook campaigns.
• Full responsibility for the accuracy of reporting, with the development of clear insights, ensuring the client has a clear understanding of the impact of their investment on their business.

Client

• Focused on building strong professional relationship with clients.

Team & Communication

• Developing strong working relationships with their:
• Digital Activation team and wider agency, building your personal brand within the agency.
• Managers & Directors: ability to manage upwards when required.
• Internal client teams: effectively supporting them and managing expectations.
• Excellent communication skills with close monitoring & escalation of issues in a timely manner.

Administration

• Reconciles budgets and executes any changes that may be required.
• Forecasts spend and revenue, flagging any potential over servicing/under servicing with Director.

YOUR SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a digital media role 
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Search Engine and Social Media marketing, backed by relevant experience
• Preferably a University degree or higher education qualifications
• Expert understanding and working knowledge of Australian media landscape
• Expert across the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent ability to analyse and manipulate data, extracting insights for reporting

As the Digital Executive, you will provide ‘engine room’ support to our Digital Managers, overseeing the delivery of the client’s campaigns across social, display and video channels. You will be in the platforms and focussed on set-ups, optimisations, trafficking as needed, and reporting on campaigns, whilst working in tandem with our broader digital team as well as craft specialists in planning and investment.

Your scope will include:

• Ensuring work meets the highest digital best-in-class standards for our client
• Campaign implementation and management; including campaign set-up, optimisation, and ongoing delivery to goals
• Diligence, attention to detail and adherence to best practices throughout the full campaign life cycle
• Consulting and inputting into client and campaign strategy and planning
• Supporting the Digital Managers and mentoring account co-ordinators as well as offshore resources
• Applying your understanding of all digital tools, systems, and processes

What type of person will be successful in this role 

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working across digital media, ideally in an agency environment
• Experience in digital channels including display, social (Facebook, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Snap), and video; search is a bonus
• Experience in digital planning and activation tools, including DV360
• Competent use of Office tools – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word  
• Knowledge of the media marketplace and be able to identify opportunities that can benefit our clients
• Good relationships with media and technology partners
• The ability to support Digital Manager and mentor Account Coordinators

Working closely with a high performing, multi-disciplinary leadership team, you'll report directly to our GM. This role is located at the BlueScope Building Components Head Office in Mascot, NSW.  

What Will You Do?

As an engaged and well-regarded member of the team, you'll support our leadership by:  

• efficiently managing the diary, schedule and appointments for the General Manager of BlueScope Building Components
• managing the travel bookings and accommodation for key personnel
• coordinating site visits by booking meeting rooms, arranging IT setup and ensuring the availability of necessary resources
• assisting in planning and organising various events, including employee functions, conferences, seminars, and workshops
• managing expenses by reconciling office invoices and expenses
• assisting with fleet management 
• working collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders and be solution focused
