Phoenixia Pty Ltd has contracts with reputed telecommunication service providers like NBN, TELSTRA, ISGM etc., Phoenixia Pty Ltd deals directly with the customers/clients and installs telephones. Further we undertake maintenance and repairs for the customers/clients on behalf of NBN, TELSTRA, ISGM etc., Our clients/customers include both homes and businesses.
Our employees will primarily install, maintain and repair telecommunication equipments/appliances like telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipment.
SERVICES: Phone Lines, PSTN Lines, ADSL Connections, New Phone Points, ADSL2+Drop Outs, ISDN Services, Line Faults, MDF Phone Line Connections, Installation Service, Telephone Wiring, MDF Line Jumpering, Telephone Systems, CATS & CAT6 Cabling, Socket Repairs & Crackly Lines,
Telecommunications Field Engineer will have to perform the following duties:
We need Telecommunications Field Engineer to perform the following duties and tasks:
Main Tasks involve designing, installing, testing and commissioning, and maintenance of telecommunication equipment.
Plans, designs, commissions and monitors complex telecommunications networks and associated equipment, provides technical advice and information, and identifies complex problems and initiates action to resolve them.
Design, installation, testing, commissioning and integration in network sites
Adherence to all the compliance requirements in Telstra and other carrier policies and procedure manuals.
Examining drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed.
Ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools required for site installation.
Testing hardware to ensure it is in working order before establishment.
Integrating network with software & peripherals.
Interpretation of plans and exercise of effective judgement on the optimal method of cutover.
Verifying service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
Erecting, testing and maintaining aerial and underground wires and cables, and radio and mobile phone antennas.
Recording logs of the details & locations. Keep records of parts & equipments.
Oversee works of field technicians to ensure installation works are carried out according to standards and of high quality.
Fault isolation, analysis and repair requiring a high degree of diagnostic skill. Configuration of telecommunications technology with software and hardware.
Locating faults in telecommunications equipment. Technical Advice to customers/clients.
Conducting cable testing and recording; optic fibre testing/ splicing and commissioning as appropriate.
Undertaking complex cable rearrangement activities Undertaking the full range of alarm system management.
Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:
Education : Diploma or Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications
Experience : At least 3 years of experience is mandatory
