This role is the newest addition to our in-house People & Culture (P&C) Talent team, which will see you own hiring, use innovative means to find and engage with candidates, all while making a significant impact by finding top talent for our IT teams- Engineering, Data, Product, Program Management etc. With a primary focus on APAC region, you will work closely with hiring managers and colleagues to identify, attract, and hire top IT professionals for Pepperstone and contribute to Pepperstone's global Talent Strategy where possible.
Joining our Global People & Culture team, you will be reporting to our Global TA Manager who values and supports your personal growth, is passionate about team engagement that is true to our values. We have a learning team culture and encourage each other in everything that we do. You will have space to work with autonomy while influencing new initiatives in the talent acquisition space.
This is a permanent role working hybrid from our swish office on 727 Collins Street, Melbourne. We are open to candidates interested in either a full-time or part-time role (0.8 FTE or a similar arrangement).
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partnering with key IT stakeholders and hiring teams to support end-to-end hiring for their teams through proactive sourcing and other channels.
- Building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline for current and future IT projects, actively utilizing numerous channels to enhance the diversity of applicant pools.
- Enhancing Pepperstone as a leading Fintech brand by actively participating in both offline and online forums.
- Providing valuable insights and guidance to hiring managers on best practices of hiring with diversity and inclusivity in mind.
- Ensuring our candidate experience is professional, kind, and efficient at all times, leaving a positive impression on potential candidates, regardless of the hiring outcome.
- Ensuring the recruitment strategy remains competitive and aligned with industry standards by staying informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
- Collaborating with P&C advisors and partners to ensure a seamless and exceptional onboarding experience for our future Pepperstonians.
About You:
- Previous experience as a recruiter specializing in IT hiring in a results driven environment.
- Experienced in taking ownership of processes and improving them - we are enthusiastic about continuous enhancements throughout the TA function.
- Ability to work on multiple roles at a time while fostering effective communication with stakeholders to drive results.
- Passionate about creating a great candidate experience and providing an outstanding onboarding process.
- Ability to be available across time zones on an ad hoc basis where required to support our TA specialist in EMEA.
- Aptitude for working with technology- we use Workable, BambooHR, Google suite, slack with some more in pipeline.
- Current and appropriate working rights in Australia.
