Save Sight Institute and the school of Biomedical Engineering are looking for a supportive Research Assistant to assist with research work in the Material Science and Cell Biology area. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who can provide research, operational and administrative support. We are looking for an independent and autonomous research assistant who can also work under guidance and supervision when required.

Your key responsibilities will be to:


Conduct laboratory research on biopolymers, biomaterials, and nanomaterials synthesis, characterization and knowledge of cell-material interactions
undertake literature reviews and research and supervise students as needed
conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and design presentations for presenting and viewing the information
develop and submit research publications including the production and presentation
