Salary Academic Level A + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University
About the Role As the Research Assistant in Laser Threshold Magnetometry, you will undertake research activities in line with the University?s research strategy. You will be expected to work with an increasing degree of autonomy as skills and experience develop.
You will work as a member of an international collaboration on diamond materials for laser threshold magnetometry. You will need to undertake international travel, including to some of our partners in the US, Japan, and Germany. You will have demonstrated expertise on the optical characterisation of materials, ideally laser or diamond materials, or a commensurate skill set that can be applied to these tasks.
