We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, supporting operations at our Virginia site in South Australia.
As a valuable member of our team, you will play a vital role in the success of our accounts team. If you are reliable, energetic and have a passion for accounts, we would love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will be working collectively as part of a team assisting across a range of accounting operations.
An attractive remuneration package between $80,000 - $100,000 is available to the right candidate.
Duties include:
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS, payroll tax, workers compensation, income tax and fringe benefit tax.
• Preparation of cash flows, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Prepare Financial Reports (quarterly and annually)
• Preparation of the bank reconciliation daily.
• Provide financial advice to the management.
• Preparation of KPI reports for daily and weekly analysis.
• Prepare monthly report forecasting for end-of-year position versus budget.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany reconciliations and chart of account maintenance.
• Prepare in conjunction with the Shared Services Manager, weekly KPI reports for senior management.
• Prepare monthly management accounts versus budget comparisons.
• Prepare and lodge all monthly ATO returns including fuel rebates and quarterly produce levies.
Requirements:
• Full/unrestricted driver’s licence (essential).
• Minimum 03 years of relevant experience.
• At least a bachelor’s in accounting, Finance or related field.
• Ability to commute to Parilla for at least 02 days per week.
