Key requirements
Prior experience within a commercial construction environment or similar will be highly regarded
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and / or equivalent accounting qualifications.
Proficient in MYOB Account Right and MS Office Suite
Intermediate knowledge of Excel
Good understanding of GST
Prior experience using Quickbooks & SimPro highly desirable
Tasks and responsibilities
Processing and recording of invoices and monthly reconciliation of statements.
Record and issue Construction Progress Claims and handle reconciliations in system.
Handling bank payments, bank feed and monthly reconciliations in MYOB AccountRight.
Issue sales tax invoices
Monthly debt collection with customers owing overdue debt
Record sales remittances in a timely manner
Adhoc requirements
Process weekly payroll using MYOB
