Due to maternity leave and growth within the team, this role will support the Finance Lead, and provide outstanding payroll and financial support to the broader organisation.
Your new role
You are a payroll expert! Demonstrating initiative and being a self-starter, you will have proven knowledge and experience in end-to-end payroll. Given the nature of this project, you will need to have the ability to accurately interpret Industrial Awards and Agreements, be able to manage competing tasks, educate business areas on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and provide outstanding internal staff support. This is a rare opportunity to support a small, but connected finance team, and richly contribute to the progression of economic growth and the environment.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have demonstrated experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar, along with:
Demonstrated experience of end-to-end payroll
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Capacity to work autonomously, be proactive, and apply a strong level of time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and external communications
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable
