As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s ongoing operations
and procedures, managing different departments. You will be the company’s first-in-command and
responsible for efficiency of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the company and the work of different departments such as
Sales, Finance, customer service, etc.
* Design and implement business strategies, plans, processes, and procedures
* Drive the company’s financial planning and ensure all financial and operational targets are
met
* Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives
* Implement robust governance frameworks to ensure the highest standards of quality and
compliance
* Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation
* Demonstrate financial acumen in areas such as P&L and costing control
* Conduct efficient staff meetings and set a stellar example.
* Train, motivate, and manage staff performance.
* Collaborate with different departments and communicate effectively with all departments.
* Implement and execute successful promotions throughout the business.
Qualification Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in food industry and proven experience as GM or
similar role
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Decision making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
* Experience with quality assurance software and tools is a plus
* Ability to travel interstate and international
* Bilingual is essential as company’s main product is Chinese Food
