- Lead the contract review team across the APAC region including line management responsibilities.
- Undertake contract reviews, including more complex terms and conditions, for example, joint ventures, advising on construction and non-construction related terms and conditions and reviewing the work of more junior members of the team
- Support on due diligence and integration of M&A targets
- Liaise with external parties, including our PII and general insurance brokers, lawyers, and any other relevant parties to confirm coverage, respond to queries and obtain advice
- Provide ad hoc contract advice to operational teams and liaise with clients/their legal teams (where requested) to resolve contractual matters
- Support operational teams through the risk management process, help them to resolve issues and get into contract
- Work with the risk management leadership team to develop and roll-out to the broader business improvements to risk management tools, systems and processes
- Work closely with operational teams to improve RM awareness, compliance and capability
- Support with the development and roll-out of global risk management training;
- Help carry out compliance spot checks and feedback findings to regions and into the RM process;
- Supporting the generation and issue of RM reports to the regions and relevant committees/boards.
