Allspec Engineering Pty Ltd is a well-established fabrication business that has provided fabrication services for the last decade to the mining and construction industries within Western Australia.
As a result of our continued growth and success, we are looking for trade qualified Boilermakers to join and strengthen our team at our Hope Valley workshop.
Duties but not limited to:
• Read and interpret drawings to determine job requirements
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances
• Complete fabrication activities to include prepping, oxy cutting, bevelling, grinding squaring and assembly of steel to ensure completion to client requirements
• Measure and check completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications
• Perform the welding of steel components in all positions
• Perform welding techniques including FCAW, TIG, MIG and Stick
Essential
• Certificate III in Engineering - Boilermaker/Welder Trade
• A minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy steel fabrication environment
• Experience with fabrication and welding of structural steel work, piping and platework.
• Extensive knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques and principles
