Duties and Responsibilities:
*Interpret and work from production drawings, prints or plans and measure accurately.
*Select, clean and prepare metal stock, fabrication tools and equipment.
*Use automatic, semi-automatic, single purpose machines and equipment.
*Cut raw materials using appropriate tools.
*Cut, roll, bend, shape, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies.
*May set up and operate spinning lathes to spin shaped articles from sheet or structural metal.
*Plan, lay out and fabricate mould patterns or templates for producing metal castings or articles.
*Assemble and fabricate structures made of metal using an array of welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding.
*Fit and assemble metal components by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing or soldering.
*Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing or bathing them in acidic solutions.
*Inspect and test welded structures and surfaces to discover flaws.
*Perform a range of maintenance functions including removing equipment fastenings, etc.
*Comply with all Quality Management System and OH&S Management System requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
Applicants with qualification must demonstrate 2-years’ full-time experience
Welder - (First Class) (ANZSCO: 322313)

$74,000 - $80,000 (salary will be considered commensurate to qualifications and experience)
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
*Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
*Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
*Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
*Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
*Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
*Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
*Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Qualifications and Experience:
