Contract Administrator (Full Time)
SALARY $74,000 per year + Superannuation
Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare service contracts templates, create language standards for existing and new contracts.
• Prepare contractual documentation for clients, based on agreed terms, time frames, financial terms, and make sure the terms comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners and clients.
• Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties.
• Analyse potential risks involved with specific contract terms, spot errors and making necessary changes.
• Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g., payments and shipping);
• Maintain organized system of physical and digital records.
• Administer contracts with third-party business partners, such as customs agents, courier companies in the destination companies, etc.
Qualification and Experience
• A minimum of Diploma or higher in Business, Management, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
• Strong contract management skills, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for explaining contract terms and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail, risk management, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for identifying and mitigating potential issues.
• Organizational and time management skills are needed to handle multiple contracts and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office.
